I nice moody piece, completely appropriate considering it's Raph.
Nicely captured.
There's a nice sense of light, as well... like the only great amount of colour is in Raph and the rest of the backdrop is pretty much black and white.

Oh my gosh! Are you a proffesional? That is sooooo cool!
How do you draw the TMNT? I am a huuuge fan but I never have much luck with drawing the turtles. :\
Anyways, this pic was really an inspiration. Thanks.

thanks mate! yep, def a good solid 2 hours of googleling. anything i can find. dvds like spiderman 1 and 2 are good too for eg.... sometimes, just to get a feel of the environment. after that i make up some backgrounds base on the references.

wow!that seem like it's probebly the one step in your process that takes the longest.i'm sure once you have what you need for background ,the rest is a snap for a talented artist like yourself.i'm going to make a better effort an finding the right reference material that i need from now on, maybe some day my pages will look as amazing as yours.lol.thanks man.

thanks mate. but no, unfortunately its not as snappy as i'd like. it's still a struggle to get backgrounds done as i hate it! i like drawing the human figure too much!
