After a very long break, finally a new piece of art; The two Frigates you see are the HMS Minerve and HMS Surprise. Both were french built Corvettes that were later captured by the British. I built the model over the past few months, adding a bit every time I could spare a moment. The Hull was modelled true to the original (british) plans of the Surprise that were drawn in Portsmouth after the capture. The Rigging ist almost complete, I wrote a little plugin to help with the process. The Schooner is the Tender, also modelled after the Portsmouth plans.
