Finally another render! I revisited a scene I did over a year ago, took it apart and put everything back together. The ship is my HMS Minerve, sister to the more famous HMS Surprise, seen here deepestofblue.deviantart.com/a… . The base mesh stayed the same, I redid the textures and added furled sails.
The main reason I didn't finish it back then, was that I couldn't get the backdrop island look good in the sense that it looked overgrown and primeval. While fiddling on another project, I discovered, that you could tweak pyrocluster in a way, that it looks convinvingly tree-ish from afar. So I went back to my unfinished project and here you see the result
