The Bismarck never had this kind of camouflage! The Bismarcks camouflage was that one used on the Prinz Eugen here. The camouflage being seen on the Bismarck here actually was one of the camouflage patterns used on the Tirpitz. And were is the Gneisenau? And where is the Tirpitz?

Bismarck: I remember my days in the Kreigsmarine, even though my fighting career was cut short by the Royal Navy, i did enjoy being part of that grand navy while me and my sister lasted.
Scharnhorst: I lived to hear of my friend, Bismarck's death, I felt so devastated but, Bismarck's best friend, Prinz Eugen told me that there was nothing we could've done to prevent it. This made me feel confident enough to do the Channel Dash with Prinz Eugen, my sister and several destroyers. However my career was short as well, when I met my end in December of 1943, falling victim to another British battle force comprising of the HMS Duke of York, cruisers and destroyers.

German SURFACE fleet was weak-ENED by POLITICAL admirals who had NEVER seen combat babysitting Captains who HAD, and therefore micro-managing every move.
German Unterseaboot Fleet was hella strong until politics and sonar got involved. I mean, come on... the U-Boats damn-near KILLED the UK TWICE in 25 years!!
