Moving her arm made sparks dance before her eyes, but she extended it until her fingertips reached the line of chalk, and stayed there, not a quarter of an inch from Chaol, the thick white mark separating them.

She lifted her eyes to his face, and found his gaze lined with lined silver. "Get up," was all he said.
And in that moment, somehow his face was the only thing that mattered.

Oh my gosh, poor babies <3
I've been meaning to draw this bit for a while now, and finally had a good image of what it should look like. I waned the backgrounds to be slightly blurred, as Chaol was the only thing that mattered in that moment to her, and the same probably applied to Chaol, seeing Celaena like that :'c

Anywho, I must admit I rather like how this looks, even though the shading is sucky xD
