Description
Perhaps ten meters to my left, the pale, empty-stomached girl was standing, frost-stricken.Her mouth jittered.
Her cold arms were folded.
Tears were frozen to the book thiefβs face.

WHAT COINCIDENCE IS THIS
I am reading this book for novel studies in my English class right now... but don't spoil the plot for me because I've been instructed to only read up to part four.

LOOL YOU GET TO READ THIS IN YOUR ENGLISH CLASS?!
OMG why can't I read this for english class.
Haha I was actually gonna draw more (spoilery ) scenes but then I got lazy.

I am definitely enjoying it so far! And I was sooo glad I did not have to read The Life of Pi in class... last year, I thought I had to read that book next year for English class, so I read it in advance, and gosh it is terrible. Religion religion religion spirituality spirituality nonsense nonsense nonsense. It's not like I'm against religion, it was just the way it was presented in the book that got very... annoying .___. and boring.

Aah I've never heard of that book. Wowza so studious reading things in advance ahaha (I SHOULD DO THAT).
Right now I just read The Great Gatsby in class and it wasn't so bad (but the speech I'm writing now is HORRID).

lolol
I used to hate reading novels for English class in elementary school because the teachers wouldn't let us read ahead.
But now they allow it, so I am so much more content. I read the assigned novel quickly for recreational purposes, then go back to it and analyze those words to death later :'p
oh speeches!
That reminds me of this time every student in the class had to play a character from The House of the Scorpions. Very fun. I got to be a mischievous lil bad guy. Bad guys are more fun to act c:

Aah that should be the way to do it- analysing things to death straight after reading the first time (or during) really destroys the essence of the novel
I don't see why they wouldn't let you read ahead, how detrimental could it be? Unless.. SPOILERS.
That sounds pretty cool! Yess bad guys are awesome. I did a similar assignment three years ago- except everyone had to act as a character from any myth (unofficially) and tell their story. I chose Hades muahaha. I basically spent a lot of time complaining about how all the gods and people of the world were not grateful to me (actually I really feel sorry for him lol). T'was fun.
Still my favourite speech to date.

Aahhh I was allowed to read ahead, so I finished the book. woop!
O Hades! That speech does should like fun. Now I am imagining myself doing what I've seen a lot of artists do - redraw some myth thing. Uh, my version of Hades would be too metrosexual and lolworthy. I can imagine it already |D

LAUGHING TEARS OF JOY
Persephone needs some hot pink hair extensions, POM juice, and a belly button piercing.
And Hades could not be any more pimpin'. This may not be on your dA, but it must be on your tumblr.
