Description update [8.2] : 10 new brushes!

Hi dear deviant-friends;  All this big work couldn't be possible without the support of my patrons .
This brushkit is a free bonus on the way of more episodes for my webcomic Pepper&Carrot .
A big big thanks to them, and also to all of you for the super comments I receive each episode I post here.

Download the bundle :www.peppercarrot.com/extras/re…
or mirror: github.com/Deevad/deevad-krita…

To install the bundle:

Note: compatible with Krita 2.9.11 and Krita 3.x

  • Download deevad-v8-2.bundle file on your disk.
  • Open Krita and go to the top menu :  Setting > Manage Ressources
  • In the 'Manage Resources Bundle' dialog appearing; press the top 'Import Bundles' button.
  • Select the file deevad-v8-2.bundle on your disk , using the file explorer appearing on your screen, then finish by pressing 'Open'
  • The icon of the brushkit should appears under 'Active bundle' ( the left column )
  • Press OK on the 'Manage Resources Bundle' dialog.
  • To end, I advice you to close and restart Krita: this way you'll have the brush tag deevad-v8-2 in your 'Brush Preset docker' to filter them.
  • Have fun with painting!
  • ( To uninstall: Setting > Manage Ressources, then 'Open resource folder', and delete the bundle file in the bundle folder. Restart Krita.)

Wait, so is that brush template going to be the new normal, or are you just doing this with your brushes.

It's just for my own brushes GraphixS6 ; the default brush of Krita evolves more slowly to be compatible back with default brush of Krita 2.8 and 2.9.

    Does it requires tablet?

ReonPG In reply to Ihtiander [2016-05-21 15:37:33 +0000 UTC]

You can use them without tablet but you'd have no pressure of course.
The tablet is like a mouse in a way so it's normal that it would work.

Lookin good, also maybe mention that Krita 3.0 has an RC (out of beta) already, which can be downloaded from their ongoing kickstarter  www.kickstarter.com/projects/k…

I like to make my own brushes, but since it's been a while since I was grubbing around with all that stuff, think I'll yoink this just to have a nice starting point other than the current default brushes. Might even just tweak them to my needs

    Thanks!
