MONSTER MASSACRE was the biggest fun to put together, how could it not? Over 60 pages of big monster stories by some of my best friends. Simon Bisley, Kevin O'Neill, Garry Leach, Doug Braithwaite, John Thomlinson, Dan Abnett etc...There just can't be enough big monster comics in my opinion.

I remember being 14 or so, and the comic shop owner denying me a sale. So I ran with it. That cover screamed at me.

South Texas was a very conservative place. I went through the same thing with Gaiman and McKean's Death comic on aids. Eventually I found a gas station where I could buy Heavy Metal and all became well.
