Description This was a piece I did for a charity in England. The comic conventions used to produce programs filled with art from creators that was then auctioned off at the end of the show for charity.

The Shadow has always been a fave of mine. Loved the Mike Kaluta and Frank Robbins strips, but Jim Steranko's pulp covers always nailed him best.

I'd done this way back in the day for the old UKCAC show catalogs where all the art was auctioned for charity at the end of the show. Went for a couple hundred squidlies if I remember right.

Thanks Javier, that's what I was aiming for in not only dress but 'feel' of the illustration itself. Love to do another now as this piece was drawn many years ago.

wow, I love this. I love how you rendered different textures, how your strokes and fullblacks make the volumes, I just, love it. the details of the cape folding around different things are just so realistic. awesome.

I like the Shadow more than Batman, both seem retakes of Zorro though.
