She is my favorite of all the woman who stood out in history. This piece is gorgeous by the way because simple works very well here.

This reminds me of Caspar David Friedrich's works. Which is a compliment, because I love his paintings. You have a wonderful style, it looks almost like a photograph (or an old painting, as I said). Awesome.

A personal hero of mine and the finest representation I've seen of Jeanne d'Arc in a while!
Bravo!
I agree with your decision to keep it simplistic, The french people have always been subject to the will of lavishly dressed kings who treated their subjects quite badly, I find this to be perfect as the simplistic but elegant dress reflects the purity and balance with in her soul in the service of God. (or at least thats is what she believed.)

Beautiful work, relevant to show her alone, as she always was, facing her destiny, she always said her voices had told her she had only a year, and that how long her adventure lasted, but she is still remenbered today...

You've made St. Joan of Arc look absolutely beautiful. Her tragic story from the Hundred Years War is one that sometimes gives me strength. Thank you so much for doing this gorgeous job on her, and congratulations on getting DD.

So for this very special occasion, you are featured here: [link]

A very nice, simple portrait. I love the contrast between her armor and the loose, flowing texture of her robes. I think that great juxtaposition captures the duality of the myths about her character.

Beautiful. I love how she's slightly turned away from the viewers eye. It's a great piece.
