Oh my goodness, no - please do! After all, I certainly don't own that photo, and I'd LOVE to see your rendition. Let me know when you finish?

I will Also I have a question how do you put pictures in your journals. I still can't figure out how to do that.

Oh - go to your deviation and look on the right where all the 'Share' options are. There's a drop-down arrow. Click on it and copy the 'thumb' number. Post that in your journal, and tada!

Double points for handling a coloured horse so well! I always find them a headtrip to draw since you have to switch between shading light and dark, so I have muchos respect for people who draw them *and* pull it off successfully! You've captured his strength and poise perfectly; he looks powerful and elegant at once. And I love the light flowing tail. Fantastic pic, once again

I actually prefer paints; there's less dark values to go into, and I'm lazy. Thanks so much!

Aha, so that's your secret! I'm the opposite, I can handle dark values fine but find light horses difficult. So paints manage to combine both of those for me. And I wouldn't say you're lazy, just economical with your time And you're welcome!

Ah... well, good practice for all of us, I suppose.
Hahaha - I'm going to phrase it like that from now on.

this is............<3. Know I have asked before but whats the softest pencil you own? Because when I take photos the camera usually turns them lighter.

Aw, thanks! Well, the softed pencil I ever use is a 2H; it's great for white things/skin. I actually found a 7H at a Michael's and bought it, thinking "Oh this will totally be useful!" Ha. It's kind of ridiculous how light that one is.

Hmm... Well, there's the Ebony pencil, which gets very, very dark. That works well. My art teacher had a brand that she really liked; it was dark and matte, so the light didn't reflect off of it. I don't remember what it was called, though.

I see, the light reflecting doesn't bother me since I only take the photos from the above.
