I love lighter horses - they require so much less work.
And these two, are, of course, gorgeous, and were lots of fun to draw.

This is stunning, you've highlighted their shine in all the right places, I've seen this reference before and wondered if anyone was going to do it justice - you certainly have
I also find chestnuts and bays much easier to draw in pencil! I wonder why that is

Hmm... I think it's because they entirety of their coat is lighter, and there's less dark coverage needed.
