For Illustration 2, our second (and supposedly last) assignment is to create a 32 picture page book mock up based on a pre-existing royalty free story. I chose Journey to the West, as it's one of my all time favorite classic stories. As it is a classic, I wanted to give this two page spread/cover piece a very classic and pulp feel in its color scheme. And I think I achieved that pretty well, as I can almost taste the vanilla coke coming off that logo.
