Description ... You'd better keep up.

Because I love David Tennant's Doctor.
Because I cried for him and Rose.
Because the new series starts tonight
And because there's always an awful lot of running involved

The Doctor's pose from this shot :[link]
Man, I don't know where his other leg went ... Lost in the folds, I guess.

I'm part of the team responsible for the fan project: 'The Unofficial Doctor Who 1972 Annual'.  We have all the stories and features in and proof read.  And some talented illustrators..... but we need more.

That would be an interesting episode to watch!

Missfantasyfreak In reply to Degare [2013-05-29 15:58:14 +0000 UTC]

Yeah I guess so..

The Doctor will visit some alien planet, where they have technology able to teleport things, but it goes haywire when they try to teleport the Doctor (may be because his biology is different from theirs) so when they teleport him, one of his legs will stay on the original place (it won't bleed, because there would be some spare teleportation energy allowing the blood to teleport while flowing his veins in and back of his leg, cause I wouldn't let the Doctor suffer or bleed out). So the Doctor wants to get his leg back, but can't because the leg moves like it is still attached to him, just far away. The hunt may begin!!!!

Okay, maybe not. There is a reason why I don't write DW screenplays.. it would be completely rubbish!!

Moulin-chick [2013-03-12 18:51:12 +0000 UTC]

Yeah... I love the Rose/Dr. match. Did you know the whole reason David Tennant became an actor is because he loved watching Dr. Who as a kid?

Degare In reply to Moulin-chick [2013-03-24 08:52:00 +0000 UTC]

Aww, that's really sweet.

Now I'm trying to work out which of the Doctors would have been HIS Doctor back then, when he was young ... 1970/80s? Sylvester? Tom Baker?

Ooh!!! Tom Baker is my favourite classic Who. I adore his scarf. And Sarah Jane.

Oh, so cool I just love the energy, so very like the Doctor, bursting with inexhaustible force I love how they're running, and how the pic is both happy and adventurous. Really love this drawing, along with the colours, so bright and intense. Oh, I love David Tennant, too, I rather miss him

Thanks!

I miss David so much I have to content myself periodically with watching anything else he's ever been in - whether I like it or not! I just need my Tennant fix!

No, didn't get to see that, but I've seen Casanova, Learners, the Decoy Bride and a bunch of other random stuff - even really old TV series like Taking Over the Asylum!

Well, of course Harry Potter - though he wasn't in it much, sadly. Been watching Broadchurch?

Oh, Casanova, seen that, too, shame about the blue eyes though. Anyway, I recommend Hamlet, he's absolutely outstanding there!

Loose sketchiness is awesome, also the colour scheme suits it, flat colours!!!

Missing David Tennant, Matt Smith is alright I can watch him, but David Tennant had wonderful charisma.

Degare In reply to gemistryartworks [2012-09-06 20:48:43 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I enjoyed trying something new. I quite liked the sketchiness and colour scheme.

I miss Tennant, too. Matt Smith, as you say, is watchable but I'm not feeling much emotion towards him. He makes me laugh, but he doesn't make me cry. Or care much. Meh.

Yep - I figured experimenting with different styles is the best way to keep the whole thing interesting. I'm sick of doing the same things lately.
