"Legacy: Evolution, the second year of Legacy product, was announced in fall 2022 at that year's Pulse Con. This subline imprint not only broadened the range of past Transformers franchises characters could be pulled from, it retired the Energon-infused weapons in favor of a series of integrated weapons referred to collectively as "Evo-Fusion." Admittedly, many of these are just the same "combine and mount weapons somewhere on the figure" play gimmick that has been part of the Generations line for years, but hey.

Supporting this is a continuation of the "Weaponizer" concept with a new tribe of modular Junkions that can mix and match body parts and accessories to create your own robot and vehicle modes, or armor and weaponry for other bots. Following Menasor, this subline's combiner is Volcanicus, made up of six Dinobots in the smaller Core Class. Evolution also puts some more focus on Armada characters to commemorate the series' 20th anniversary, although these new releases do not include any of the series' original Mini-Cons. The line also notably features the first mainline Animated toys since the show's cancellation in 2009; 2023 also marks the 15th anniversary of the Animated cartoon, but we doubt this was intentional."

Hey there Dex coming at ya again with a new post for Transformers Month, this time we have Legacy Evolution which was the horse that kept on giving. I'm not gonna waste time so let's get into it. For the Core Class I didn't grab Grimlock, Slug, Swoop, Sludge, Snarl, Soundblaster, Thundercracker and Nemesis Prime but did grab Scarr (Aka IDW Skar) who's a fun toy. For the Deluxe Class I grabbed Armada Universe Hot Shot, Needlenose with Sunbeam and Zigzag and Scraphook all of whom are good toys. Then I haven't gotten Crashbar, Animated Universe Prowl, Axlegrease, Devon, Detritus, Cybververse Universe Shadow Striker and Robots In Disguise 2015 Universe Strongarm (Who I wish was a little more bulky) but I do plan to buy them, while I don't plan on getting Breakdown, Crosscut, Beachcomber, Bombshell or Shrapnel. For the Voyager Class I didn't grab Leo Prime/Lio Convoy, Twincast with Rewind, Comic Universe Bludgeon and Trashmaster but do plan to buy Twincast, Buldgeon and Trashmaster. I do however own Comic Universe Tarn (Amazing toy), Metalhawk, Dirge (Still waiting for Ramjet and Thrust) and Nemesis Leo Prime/Black Lio Convoy who are good toys. As for the Leader Class I don't have Armada Universe Megatron but plan to buy him. I do however own both Prime Universe Skyquake and Dreadwing who look great together. I don't have Commander Class Armada Universe Optimus Prime but plan to buy him. (Since my Armada Prime from back in the day is beaten up). I do have Titan Class Nemesis and she is a thing of beauty in both ship and robot modes. Just like with Victory Saber, I don't have the HasLab Deathsaurus who came with Tigerchest, Eaglechest, Boater and Pipo though I wish I did back that set too.

As for Exclusives I don't own Medix (Which I now want more after watching Rescue Bots Academy), Armada Universe Powerlinx Hot Shot with Armada Universe Jolt (Who I want just for Jolt), The Optimus Prime/Bumblebee two pack that I don't want then the "War Dawn" two pack of Dion and Erial/Ariel that I do want. As for the "Toxitron Collection" I don't have G2 Universe Dead End, Jazz, Laser Cycle, Mirage, Sideswipe, Cloudcover, Grimlock and Toxitron but plan on buying all of them. Lastly for the "Pre-War Collection" I don't have Nacelle (Since that toy had gross mold or something growing on it from what I heard), the Deadeye Duel two pack made of Ascenticon Kaskade vs Senate Guard Javelin that I plan on owning and Nova Prime (Who I will buy or die trying for Nova Prime is the coolest Prime). I do however own the Humble Origins two pack of Data Clerk Orion Pax (Who looks kinda fat lol) and Senator Shockwave then the Rise of Tyranny two pack with Miner Megatron and Senator Ratbat who both look amazing, more so Ratbat's purple. Something I almost forgot to add was that I love how many new Junkions we got in this line though it's a shame we didn't get toys for cartoon or comic only Junkions we have seen through out the years, fingers crossed we'll see them show up at somepoint.
