Been playing a lot of Halo: CE lately, and I've actually wanted to draw this concept for a while.Master chief ยฉ Bungie

Why? Chief is just as susceptible to succumbing to the flood as everyone else. If he was truly invincible, he'd make for a very boring character... which he kind of is already.ย

This is an interpretation of what chief could look like had he been infected by the flood, which to me is possible. Sure, it didn't happen in the story, but it could have, Master chief isn't some invincible god-like being.
You Halo fans sure get defensive for some reason, it's quite annoying.ย

chief was actually almost infected by the flood, his shields were down and an infection form punctured his armor by his neck and if cortana managed to kill it, if she didn't chief would have been a combat form

it is imposible he has fought thousands of flood creatures at one time and come out on top. you would need at least 2 chuck norrises to hold him down while thousands of flood spores try to make thier way through his armor

Look, no character is invincible(except lame characters like Superman) even Master Chief. I'm also sick of this whole Chuck Norris crap. It's getting really old.
It depends on the skill level of the player. Plus, if Chief was invincible, he'd be a one note character because he couldn't die.

i never said he was 100% invincible but the chief alone no player controling him he cant be killed by the flood cus the flood just aren't or weren't strong enough
