For moons, this feeling bothered her. She knew exactly what it was, but for moons, she felt too shy to tell anyone. 17 moons now and counting, this terrible feeling lingered in her mind like a large stone in a lake.
This feeling did not include the future, oh no. Mistsplash knew it included herself and herself only. What had only began as a mere bother became something new entirely! She knew what it was, she knew it exactly. Always hesitant, even to her family, she thought! Her siblings seemed completely detached from her, minding their own issues and the such. Of course, Mistsplash did not want to bother her parents either with such a trifle thing, so for moons she waited. Waiting until at least one of them was free from patrols, free from hunting, free from duties in general, free from everything! These moons would end up being the busiest, there being the mysterious footprints and all. All this time, Mistsplash waited, her mind always feeling like it would burst.
In camp, like usual, she stood her distance from the others, simply watching. Unusually, though, Mistsplash moved her paws around impatiently. Maybe some would think of her weird, standing around idly and staring at those who were returning from their patrols. She knew they would think of her weird, but honestly, at this age, she grew accustomed to it. Of course, she used to be so sensitive that it'd absolutely break her if someone said something rude, but now she matured. The day shined brightly, with cold winds blowing through, ruffling her fur. To distract her from these thoughts, normally she went on patrols. But this time, she was to stay. It felt stressful to her, to stay here worrying about her silly problems alone. On a patrol, Mistsplash's worries would probably be focused on the mystery making those snow-tracks, but today she was told to stay. Maybe it was because they thought she was overworking herself or whatever, noticing her constant attendance of patrols, but it was the opposite!
And now, doomed to stay in this camp, the brown cat watched. Those cheerful expressions on the others' faces, that sense of confidence everyone else had, it all made her wish that she could get this over with very soon.

Hollowpaw awoke in the apprentices den,the warm sun looking like salvation as she rose from her nest in the dim den.She padded out her eyes squinting at the sunlight. Potatopaw passed her a smile on his face "Looks like a good day." She nodded agreeing with the tom.
She padded towards the kill-pile,the scent of fish wafting into her maw,Hollowpaw quickly took a colorful fish and sat down to take a bite.

Coralkit padded over to his mother in the nursery on a warm afternoon. Seagulls were passing, crying overhead. Coralkit was a bit conflicted today... he need to ask his mother an important question... He approached her and nuzzled her side, "Momma...?" he inquired.

The dark tabby perked her ears, looking over to her youngest son. It seemed like it was Coralkit. She gave a warm smile and purred. "Hello my little one~" She licked the top of his head. "What's wrong honey?" She raised an eyebrow lightly.

"Smoothkit says that Dad used to chase kits around when he was an apprentice. Is that true?..." the little kit looked hurt, and he had been when he heard this. He always thought his dad was the strongest bravest warrior in the clan and never imagined his father would do such a thing.

Hearing the comment from her son, she turned blue. "Well, not in a bad way..~ He chased them for fun.. Wanderstep gave her son a nuzzle. "But your father doesn't do that any more..I think. Mumbling the last part, she shook her head and concentrated back at her son.

"Why would cats say somethin' like that about Dad? Some cats act like he's scary or something. But i want to be just like dad when i'm a a warrior!" he puffed out his chest, proud.

"Well look at your father now~ Who cares of what other say about him. He's a great tom~" Blushing about the thought of her mate, she looked outside then back at her son.

He nuzzled her, agreeing with what she had said. He loved his father, he was the kit's role model after all. "Momma, why can't kits go out of camp?" he questioned again.

"Well, dangers of course. Kits can't really defend themselves. But when you're an apprentice, you'll be able to explore the outer parts of camp~" Mewing in reply, she purred loudly, beginning to groom Coralkit.

"But momma it's boring in here... I could defend myself~!" He laid down, letting her groom him as he enjoyed his mother's baths. "How come I can't be an apprentice now?"

Chuckling, she continued. "Because you're too young~ You have to be six moons to be an apprentice. And so far you're only..two moons? So you got 4 more to go~"

"I wish i could be an apprentice now!" he climbed up on top of his mother. "Momma, I want to explore!"

"Patience Coralkit~ Your brothers and sisters are as excited as you when it comes to this. Trust me, I know how you felt when I was a kit~" She chuckled lightly, looking up at her son who was on her head.

"What were you like as an apprentice momma?" He tried to imagine a smaller version of his mother, learning how to fight and hunt just as the apprentices now.

"Well, I was more quiet, and hardly had any friends, till I met your father of course." She stated, placing her paw to her chin. "I was also scared of water.." And to be honest she was still scared of water.

"Momma i love the water..." He started but realized he'd... kind of given away that he had went outside of camp before. "Um, well, Floodkit said water was really nice and there were pools outside of camp her momma told her so..." He tried to cover himself up.

Wanderstep only raised her eyebrow. "Oh Floodkit, your younger cousin. How are you two getting along?"

"Oh yes momma! We are the best of friends!" He purred "We wrestle! She's like, boom boom-" He batted at the air with his paws, "And i was like- raaaawrrr!!" He pounced the ground and rolled around, "Then she pinned me but i went limp and snuck up behind her and pounced like BAM!" He started chasing his tail and got dizzy and fell to the floor on his belly.

The tabby chuckled, watching her son make all these cute movements. "Have you met anyone else?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah! Fernkit is real nice too. She's sweet!" He purred. "And i met... Stonekit. He seems kinda stuck up momma!" He flicked his tail. The two had not exactly got along when they had met.

"Stonekit.." Wanderstep tried to remember who his parents were. "Stonekit? I don't recall a Stonekit.." She pouted, she couldn't remember a Stonekit. Maybe he meant Smoothkit?

Coralkit couldn't even remember the other kit's name that well, since they had met on such odd terms. Coralkit usually makes instant friends with every kit. "Hmmm... Stone.. Stark... Stork... smooth! Smoothkit!" He giggled and rolled on the floor. "See momma! I couldn't even remember his name."

Chuckling, she pawed Coralkit's stomach. "And why don't you like him?" Resting her head on her paws, she got a better view of Coralkit and his cute face.

"Cause... he's a goody two paws!" He huffed. "He doesn't know how to have fun." Coralkit rolled around on the nursery floor and caught a ball of moss and started batting it around.
