Chuckling lightly, Wanderstep lightly tilted her head. "We do love each other dearly, our feelings changed over time, it took us a while though." She giggled petite.

"Whoa..." Coralkit looked out of the nursery entrance. "Momma I hope I find a special some cat some day. Just like you and Dad." He purred.

Wanderstep chuckled lightly. "Maybe~" Returning a peaceful smile she began to again groom Coralkits fur.

"Other kits say she-cats are icky! But i don't think so momma..." under his mother's grooming, he curled up against her and yawned, becoming very sleepy.

"Well if you think that, then that's ok~" Cuddling closer to Coralkit, she began to notice her son giving a little cute yawn. "Feeling tired honey?" Continuing to give gently strokes on his fur, she gave him a soft nuzzle.

Coralkit nodded and purred against his mother's side. He was glad to have such a kind and understanding mother, who was there for him and his siblings and a strong father who loved his mother just the same. He lulled off to sleep, dreaming of catching butterflies by the ocean shore.

Stingkit wandered into the nursery, glaring back at his littermates who were trying to get him to play mossball. With the other kits. Of course the dusky brown tabby had refused, I mean, who would want to play with them if they had a perfectly snuggle-able mother? The young cat hopped around Blueivy's nest, careful not to disturb her and her litter. Finally he came to where Wanderstep was resting. "Mum?" Stingkit whispered. "Psst, mum!"

Minnowkit was sitting outside the nursery. Cindersplash, her mother, had wanted her to come outside the nursery well she went hunting. A small yawn escaped her jaws as she slid down onto her stomach, watching her siblings play a few tail lengths away.

The pregnant she-cat walked in the nursery, returning from a walk with Inkblaze, her mate. She sighed and laid to her side in the her nest. She looked at her scar that ran down her stomach. She pouted, she hoped her kits were ok. Her stomach was really round, imagine the pain. Imagine the pain. She shivered. "Ughhhhh"

Minnowkit's ears pricked up as she saw a black she-cat go into the nursery. She stood up and walked in after. "H-hey, are y-you o-okay?" She asked quietly.

dim light filtered into the warriors den as almost every warrior was sound asleep peacefully dreaming in the warriors den. mind you I said almost, for there was one kitty whom was not snoozing nor relaxing. coconutsplash, like a koala bear, had latched herself onto the neck of a large speckled tom. you'd think such a small petit she-cat wouldn't have a grasp like that in her sleep, but lynxspark could defiantly tell you other wise.
gently moving his brown pelted mate off of him, lynxspark crept out of the warriors den and sat in the dew filled sand to listen to the waves and stare at the newly risen sun. he often did this when he couldn't sleep, in his mind her felt there was no point in laying around in his nest if he wasn't sleeping. hearing the soft sound of paw steps from behind, lynxspark wiped his head around to see who the approaching cat was.
it was none other then wandersplash, his own mate's sister. he had in honestly been avoiding her and the rest of coconutsplash's family. he got the impression they wouldn't like him by aspenstar's and snowpaw's reactions to him. infact shadowclif had been the only cat who was a bit more understanding to lynxspark. why couldn't the rest see he cared for her safety above all?

Not noticing the large tom, she padded past him, and felt the sand underneath her paws. She loved to wake up late, it seemed relaxing, especially when it is nice, refreshing and cool. She stared to love night because of Inkblaze, since he took her to an amazing place to gaze and view. She looked at the water and partly gulped. Eventually she' have to learn how to swim. Shivers ran down her spin. Whenever she went to the water, she thought of dreadful things. But she had to learn, she couldn't call Inkblaze and tell him to let her ride on his back. She sighed. Padding towards the water, she placed her paw in and felt the water rush on her paw. It was cool, felt nice. She continued to walk in cautiously, and as soon as she went in a bit further, she couldn't feel her paws touch the ground any more. She gulped, and paddled her paws. She closed her eyes tightly and evacuated to the sand. She shivered and shook her fur. "Never again I'll go in water without Inkbaze...I at least need him by my side.." She should get lessons from him perhaps? He was experienced enough, wasn't he? He dug a little spot in the sand, where it was a bit warmer, and curled up her body in the spot. Her grey eyes gazed off in the distance, day dreaming.

"so um...wanderstep I believe...." lynxspark coughed nervously come on...make a good impression.... the giant tom thought. a small wave splashing his large paws started him, causing lynxspark to jump back. after the shark attack and the lose of his tail because of it, lynxspark was deadly afraid of water, which was rather heart breaking for the large tom to admit considering his once love for the water and swimming. finchcloud and coconutsplash had gotten him to go as fair as the shallows, but and actually swim or dive now seemed impossible. trying to proceed the conversation with his mate's sister lynxspark then meowed after the heart beat of silence "coconutsplash, she talks about you a lot...." gulping a bit, lynxspark prayed he wasn't making a bad impression like he had on her mother and younger sister snowpaw. it seems the only one in their family besides coconutsplash he got approval from was shadowclif, the elderly father.

Wanderstep looked up at the spotted tom and smiled. "Oh, I know who you are, you're Coconutsplash's mate~" She chuckled. "Nice to meet you~" She gave an unnoticeable twitch. She wasn't good with socialising with toms beside Inkblaze that it. But this was her brother in law, her sisters mate. "S-she has? About what..?"

"The one and only...hopefully, I mean yea i have faith I'm the one and only...." coughing softly he mewed "ahem. Yea about that, she talks often about all of you...snowpaw included though she often complains about her being.... difficult. Though its not place to judge." Licking his chest, lynxspark figured he looked like a huge fool.

Wanderstep twitched and gave a little giggle. "Well, that's my family.." She scratched the back of her head lightly, giving a nervous laugh.

He chuckled, "I guess I'll have to get used to it. They're the only family I got besides my younger cousin at the moment....I just thought it wouldn't be this hard to get them to like me or this easy to get them to hate me. At the moment it seems you and shadowcliff are the only ones who tolerate me."

She twitched an ear. "Haven't you spoke maybe to Tadpoletail or Ebonymask...or maybe my younger brothers and sisters? Or this it that they don't like you? She raised an eyebrow, making eye contact with him.

"i haven't really spoken to ebonymask.... from what I can remember... and the most recent conversation I had with tadpoletail.... was when I was an apprentice...and you and your littermates may have been older kits... or younger apprentices..i don't really remember which... either way it was awhile ago... and the honest truth, from the encounters I've had with your mother and sister, snowpaw...i'm just a bit...well...nervous...of making every cat in your family....dislike me..." sighing a bit, the large speckled tom gave a small shrug.

"Hmmm I don't understand why they would dislike you, you seem like a nice tom...pretty harmless too." Coconutsplash was lucky to have a mate like hi-...oh, maybe it was cause of that? "Is it because...my mother isn't comfortable about you being my sisters mate?"

"I suppose I can't blame them.....I never had in the first place....it just feels challenging, I worry your mother might hate me forever....." he sighed "but I could just be acting rather selfish." He mewed with a shrug "so please forgive me for that."

Sandflower lay in... the sand of course. It warmed her pale body, the tiny grains swallowed her only revealing her head and tail. The sun beat down yet; the sand kept her cool. She hadn't really talked to anyone. Not like that was much of a shock though.

Wanderstep just left the water, and shook her dark fur. She smiled, and purred as the sun began to dry her fur. That was always the good thing about having dark fur. She laid on shore and stared in the distance.

A dark tabby lay on the shore, that of which had caught Sandflower's eye. She hesitantly padded towards her,"H-Hello" she mewed feebly. Her tail flicking, she wasn't sure what to do of course as she had been much of an introvert much of her life.

Wanderstep flinched and turned her head. "Oh, um...hello there~" She smiled quiet shyly, since she doesn't have good experience in talking with other clan cats.
