Hi all!Has been a looong time since ive done any longer, more detailed painting.. so heres one!

Thanks.. originally my idea for the UDK level task was to have you go through a mysterious empty space station and solve some puzzles to send energy to elevators and stuff and you'd ride an elevator through this section and see the main dock + windows to outside space.. the level would go deeper.. but it'd take me too long to write all the stuff here.
eventually we didnt have much time and ended up just wandering around the dock as you see in the screenshots i took..

I LOVE it. Although its not a killer piece in technical aspects, it has that thing it has that soul.. Outer space atmosphere.. I will always love this kind of pieces. It's like looking at a 800X600 No one lives forever - outer space chapter screenshot with doors that has only 30 polygons, but it is TOTALLY space!!!

Yeah absolutely, that games was released in 2000. I think its the most unique FPS that ever made to the date, and its the third best FPS after HL and Mass Effect. It's the most innovative though, being a spy and not firing 40000 bullets per second etc...

When speaking of fps, my number one would be Crysis.. then i dont know.. maybe stuff like Quake3, HL2.. i owned everyone in c-s1.6 back in the old days..

i think everything here needs MUCH more work.. gradients.. textures.. design elements.. shading... detailing... everything..
i consider this as a finished SKETCH stage... maybe not a final painting..

Bah, not many people have. I'm normally the odd ball who plays everything except mainstream games. The most popular game I've played is Legend of Zelda, and een then, it's not as popular as some of the other ones. Shoot, I have yet to play halo 3 at all.

i stopped playing games since NFS Carbon.. or was it MostWanted that was the newer one.. and now im much more into 3d, drawing, painting and that kind of stuff..
Nowadays the only games i ever play are Touhou series. Its a danmaku.

WAit, your a big NFS fan? God I love NFS, though it depends on the game. My favorite so far is ProStreet. Love that game just cause of the departure from the normal NFS game, where all you need is gobs of hoursepower. In that game, you have to drive smart.

i tried the nfs ps demo.. on my old laptop.. so it lagged quite much.. and i had to play it on the minimum possible settings.. since then i never had any super powerful pc.. so thats pretty much the reason why i dont play games anymore.
But.... now its all gona change.. ive been working for some time and got enough money to buy a new workstation.. im gona buy:
i7 920 Extreme
Geforce GTX 290(or was it 295)
6(probably gona get 8) Gigs of DDR3
x56 intel compatible mb
and a 700W psu

Course that also sounds like it'll be about 3k worth of hardware.
