see.. i can draw realism. kinda. sorta. well- you be the judge. in any event, this is just a random random pic of my assassin/ice mage Tain i spent 5 hours on after being incredibly incredibly inspired by this artist: [link] I tried to emulate her methods of doing art. She is an amazing artist. AMAZING. my attempt is but a sad mockery of such beauty XD but it's a start
i only really worked hard to finish up the face... didn't really care enough to do much else XD and Tain's hair is supposed to be CRAP BROWN but i worked the highlights so much i turned it kinda carmel-colored. woops. sorry, girl. hahahhaa and still the FANSERVICE 9_9;; i need help.

I really enjoy the anatomy in this; it really looks like you drew a human body as it is, not some idealized version of it. Great tummy, and I love the way her shirt hangs. :3 Best part is how much her personality shows through.

hmm, you're getting better at correct bodies ^_^ I like the little folds of her tummy and the way the shirt is blowing across her breasts. the hand and the one foot are excellent - such few strokes to achieve a great effect :3 however the face o_o uhm. i dunno. something bugs me about it

haha correct bodies? i wish. i'm just still kidding myself that i can do anatomy- or draw much of anything for that matter *shrugs* eh. things look a lot better before i try finalizing them- i can put a few strokes in the right place but if i try to clean anything up i just tend to mess it up. guess that's how it goes. i keep looking at good artists.. trying to gleam something that i can learn from, but i never really works well. bah. i'm at an artistic dead-end and i'm just screwing things up more and more :3 yay. thanks for comment.

i ...certainly didn't mean for it to be an insulting comment. it's a gorgeous picture, i was just trying to make some constructive criticisms. your anatomy is really looking good these days, i was commenting on how you've improved upon it. the picture is fantastic i think, with the sketchyness of certain things but yet they're still clear - and the face, well-shaded and formed...
