That is good. During my time, we only had CAD, Photoshop, and a little bit of 3DS Max. You guys are so lucky.

I agree. SketchUp is the ideal program to use for the design development stage. To me, CAD is only good for floor plans, elevations, sections, and all the plumbing and electrical stuff. Using CAD for perspectives take up so much time... 3DS Max and Autodesk VIZ are so much better to use.

I love the design concept of your project. The complexity of levels and the minimalist theme adds flare to the over all design. Good work.

this piece was inspiring... so much so that i decided to do an art piece with it, gulps... i wasnt sure how things work with the properly asking how to use ur piece in my work, so i decided to show u something i whipped together for my intention with this piece... [link] i would love it if u allowed me to use this piece in an art piece... if u feel angry for me making a mock up of my concept using ur piece, i'll gladly delete the scrap and delete the original from my computer. i placed this piece in my scraps. if want to let me use this piece and let me modify it, e-mail me the original without the text on the actual photograph... i promise i will give all the credit to u. my email is jasynp@hotmail.com

thank you for your time and i hope u arent angry that i made a mock up

Those are so cool. The architecture speaks out for itself. I love the concept of the structure.

Are you required to use CAD in school? Just in case it is not, Sketch Up will make your life easier. Here is the [link] It is so much easier to use than CAD... lesser commands, can easily work with other programs, and less expensive. I hope this helps.

"The ony way to resist temptation is to yeld to it" I love the mirror-like effect, between the clouds and the islands. Great light there too. A bit grayiny, but it's not unpleasant like that.
