Well...I haven't added anything in an extremely long time. Finally got my new computer two years after I started saying "soon", and then finally got around to trying out the new art programs. What better way to break back in than with this lovely lady...

Named for the gleaming streak through her mane, Iridescent is a gruff young mare that hails from Trotland, and normally won't be found without her selection of sentimental accessories. While most Equestrian ponies have unique two-part names, "Trots" traditionally use singular given names, followed by a clan surname. While her husband Sky Shatter doesn't follow the practice, he is still a member of the MacLean clan, and Iridescent gleefully took on the name.

I'll upload her decked-out for a day in the woods soon, but for now, a profile shot that shows her with just the absolute necessities. That wrap on her foreleg is just as important to her state of being as her cutie mark, as the two go hoof-in-hoof: it's best to have a little added protection when you're interacting with phoenix. The brown feather was a gift from a griffin friend Hawk, as a misunderstood marriage proposal. The silver one, from Sky, was originally as a means to track her and slipped into her wrap (though the one she wears is actually the third she's been given, they've been destroyed twice). Though gifted for different reasons, she perpetually wears them for the same: a connection to those she cares for.
