This guy is an IceWing/SilkWing hybrid. His name is Photosynthesis, given by his displeased mother. His mother was an IceWing princess who had a secret relationship with a SilkWing. While the relationship would not have been forbidden, the princess wasn't nearly attached enough to make it known. When Photosynthesis' egg was laid, she hoped she might be able to get away with hiding the dragonet's parentage. After all, the egg was even the normal IceWing color. However, Photosynthesis is an obvious hybrid, given his bright colors and second set of wings. Ironically, he is a perfect IceWing otherwise. He radiates cold and has frostbreath. Ashamed of the him, his mother sent him to live with his father. His father reluctantly took him in. His IceWing traits also make him an outcast among SilkWings, so he spends his days trying to find a place in the world.
