ARCs are still Spec Ops. you need some regs to mix it up! wanna make a squad up for the Red Rose Battalion? makes it easier to come up with them

Up to you. If you don't want to, then by no means would I make you, but if you want a squad of regs, then I thought it'd be easy for you to use that battalion since we kinda share an OCverse now lol. So if you want then yeah, names, numbers, and armor. If you want to make the names even cooler, then make their names rose related somehow like Commander Rosoidea is named after the scientific name for rose. Scorchwillow named the guy in the sample pic of the base armor Sprites after an abbreviation for another type of rose. So be creative if you want.
other than that, standard numbers like CT CC etc, and try to make them similar to the base design but change whatever you want as long as the main color is dark (like blood) red and they have the rose logo somewhere. If you want you could even make another RC squad within the battalion like people do for their own battalions, but the point is to give you a chance to spice things up with regs. (sounds like an oxymoron doesn't it? lol)
