Description
Raphael Adolini was an Italian born Moroccan raised as a Barbary pirate. One of the most feared of his day. His ship, the "Muerte Negra", was feared especially because unlike many ships which flew the Jolly Roger, Adolini's ship flew a red flag, the "Jolie Rouge," which signaled to its captives death to all. The phase "dead men tell no tales," has been ascribed to Adolini.

The Dark Horse tale of Raphael Adolini was very interesting to me after seeing "Predator 2". The story goes on to say the Raphael Adolini and his crew ran sacked a town and found a chest of gold destened for the local church. A fight broke out between Raphael and his crew over the gold. Raphael wanted to give the gold back to the church, but the crew wanted to keep it. Adolini's crew munitied against him and a large fight broke out. A lone predator was cloaked and was watching the fight from above. Seeing how honorable the captain fought, the predator thought the Raphael Adolini would be a worthy trophy. The predator decloaked and started fighting back to back with Adolini against his crew. Soon the munitius crew was defeated. As Raphael and the predator were about to fight to the death. The last crew member was hiding among the death and shot Raphael in the back. Being denied his trophy the predator killed the last remaining crew member. With his last ounce of strength, Adolini threw his prized black powder pistol over to the predator and said "TAKE IT" with his last dying breath. The predator in return laid his blade beside Adolini and said "TAKE IT".

I though it was a cool as hell story and drew a little picture of what I see in my head about the story.
