Description
As a little girl, I remember watching Count Duckula with my kid brother, along with watching Danger Mouse. This was probably one of the shows that brought my enjoyment of cartoons.Anyways, Got broccoli?
Count Duckula is owned by Nickelodeon and Cosgrove-Hall Productions
I only drew this.

Castle Duckula, home for many centuries to a dreadful dynasty of vicious
vampire ducks - The Counts of Duckula.
Legend has it that these foul beings can be destroyed by a stake through the
heart or exposure to sunlight.
This does not suffice however, for they may be brought back to life by means
of a secret rite that can be performed once a century when the moon is in
the eighth house of Aquarius.
The latest reincarnation did not run according to plan...
In the heart of Transylvan-ia,
In the Vampire Hall of Fame-yeah,
There's not a vampire zanier than...
DUCKULA!
He won't bite beast or man,
'Cos he's a vegetari-an. (Aagh!)
And things never run to plan for...
DUCKULA!
If you're looking for some fun,
You can always count upon,
Come and find the one they call...
DUCKULA!
Heh, heh. Count Duckula!
Heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh!

Nickelodeon may own Duckula in America, though it surprised me a British kids show made it out in America at all!
One of the great classics, along with Danger Mouse and Wind in the Willows, all of which starred David Jason (Of Only Fools And Horses fame) and he did a blinding job. If you havn't seen a stop-frame puppet-style animation of Wind in The Willows with David Jason's voice yet, you must. It's the best.
Glad to see you even got this show.
Can I ask, did you also get (Although it was a different company) the kids show 'The Trap Door'? With Berk, the blue servant to the Thing upstairs and Boney, the annoying skull that's the best crossover of Dr McCoy and Mr Spock ever
Roareye Black.

Nope, I never did get to see the Trap door, though we did have Dangermouse and Penfold. That sounds like something that would've been right up my alley though.

I thought it was american, might be an english series
Hmm...how can i describe it.
Its about the same time as Count Duckular, its all made out of plastercine, its about a blue monster who's purpose is to make food and put it on a pulley which takes it up to his greedy master to eat.
The "Trapdoor" is in the kiytchen and every-so-often some odd monster comes out and causes some trouble.
The theme tune was good.
"Don't open that trapdoor! There's something down there."
It might exist somewhere online or details about it, worth a quick look
