This bento was made to celebrate St Patricks Day. My friend had a lot of beads from mardi gras so I took some to spice up my photo. This bento contains:2 Pot of Gold Onigiri (Garlic Sesame)
Fish Stick Kabobs on Clover Picks
Field of Clover Salad (Clover cucumber piece and carrots with lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and rest of cucumber cut into pieces with Ponzu Sauce dressing)

aww thank you! I've been aspiring for one since I found out what they were 5 years ago. And while this is an older deviation I'm very happy that it got recognized ^w^ I remember making this oneΒ

yeah that's so wonderful! I know I'm late on this haha. I get spammed with deviations from groups I'm in so the people's work I follow/watch is in the way back, I currently have over 11,000 deviations to scroll through >_<.
I read your journal too and I'm living 1.5 hours away from my family along with living on campus going to university this year transferring from community college. I have classes that end at night too. I hope everything works out for you and your boyfriend too. Congrats on 6 whole months

bento making isn't hard at all, it's actually so easy anyone can do it. You don't even have to know how to cook! You can use leftovers, since that's what bento originally was made from.

Make sure that the food you pack is still good at room temperature. You don't have to eat it at room temperature, but it should still be edible and enjoyable at that temp. You can always heat things up and all that, but if it isn't something you could stand eating without a fridge or microwave then the food isn't worth it. It also needs to be sustainable for hours at a time. Thing like whipped cream, mouse, and such is not a good idea because they will melt/deflate/ect. Things like rice, meats, and veggies are very good and hold up well.Β
