This actually hurt to draw, but do you really think Bill won’t torment Ford with stingy words while he’s captured like that? I suppose Ford needs to receive a blow to his ego and be saved from himself and Bill by his family.Related content

People always tell me how much they love Bill and I'm just over here silently wishing I could skin him in one inch strips and roll him in margarita salt. I have to admit, that while Ford is cool, I would flip out on him for all the crap he says to Stan. But nobody hurts my nerds. NOBODY.

*Winces* Yeah, that's a big part of why I'm literally furious at Bill right now. Bill not only tried to break Ford physically, but also mentally, and I feel like Fords mental wellbeing is much more, well, vulnerable and more likely to have a lasting impact. I mean, after literally being in Fords head (and probably looking around a bit), Bill pretty much knows Fords limitations and how to just keep the damage under them, not to mention Fords worst fears and all the guilt that he feels over different things (like Fiddleford).
As for Ford needing a blow to his ego, I think that Ford is a little insecure and tries to cover it up. Just a thought.

If you ask me Ford kinda deserves it a little bit I mean he treated his twin brother like dirt and then he tries to break up the mystery twins (dipper and Mabel) you can't tell me he doesn't deserve this a little bit!

А вот кстати нет. Билл не стал бы его унижать без нужды (т.е. когда его репутация не страдает в глазах его сообщников), и Форд не поддался бы на это. Только не после всего, через что он прошел. Он даже Билла в конце концов перестал бояться (хотя раньше чуть с ума не сошел от страха перед ним), так что он бы только посмеялся.

i think (If this did happen in the show) that at this moment Ford would realize that he is depending upon somebody else to save him. I mean, for 30 years he survived by himself and always managed to get out of the conflicts he found himself in. He hasn't depended upon anybody else to save him for 30 years. He's just now realizing that he can't win by himself, rather, he must place his trust in Stan, Dipper, and Mabel (and the rest). This from the guy who's motto is "Trust no one". He's gotta trust others if he needs to survive. After being betrayed by Bill and spending 30 years in different dimensions by himself, it's pretty hard to put all of your trust in a few people.

Honestly, seeing the latest trailer for the finale, it would seem that Bill might try and sucker Ford into betraying everyone. Which frankly isn't that hard, since Ford does seem like the type of guy who'd sell others for higher knowledge. Actually, this is what kinda bugged me about Ford, is that he always comes off as pretty damn self-centered even when he's trying to be a good guy, he still ends up being a massive jerk.

Bill might try to do that, but Ford already said that he'd rather die than join him. I think he learned his lesson about Bill. Also that image with Ford laughing might be Bill's fantasy, while he's trying to talk Ford into joining him.

I dunno, the fact he STILL cannot forgive Stan over somethin' that went down 40 years ago and he quickly went to say how Dipper should ditch Mabel and his entire family, kinda paints a picture that he didn't learn much over this long time period.
