I found this epic spot two days ago inside a dusky thicket, next to a garage while looking for nice scenes to photograph my owls. Sadly the first batch of photos ended up all blurry, so I revisited the spot today to retake some of the pictures and to photograph the other half of my owls, since the whole bunch couldn't possibly fit on the tree trunk. Amanda volunteered as a double to help balance the picture.Owls seen from the left to right: Xavier, Theo, Nigel, Cupido, Charlie and Amanda (again).
Materials: Faux fur, faux suede, polyester filling (beak), Styrofoam beads, safety eyes and handcrafted belly markings.

Aaaah awesome kinda wish I had one
I've just uploaded a plushie I made, I'm not used to textile work so if you could please have a look and give me a few pointers for improvement that would be very much appreciated

Hm, I think one of the most basic things you could do for improvement, is to sew the plush with the inside out (leaving a hole large enough, for you to be able to turn it right side out again and fill it). That way the seams would become less visible and the fabric would be better protected against fraying (you need to add some extra seam allowance though). I'd recommend to maybe borrow a book from the library about sewing plush/dolls or scout around some on the internet. There you can get a better idea of the basics, which kind of stitches to use and how to sew them and other tips and tricks to get you started. :3
