Slipping through the wall, Zoe and Lucifer entered the daycare. Once inside, hazy darkness greeted them. The smoke hang in thick, black clusters from the ceiling, but there was no sign of open fire in this room. Zoe could hear the little ones coughing and crying out for their parents.
"You get the kids out. I'll check the other rooms.", Lucifer said. "We need to know where the fire is."
Zoe nodded. The smoke didn't seem to bother her companion and - now that she thought about it - neither did it her. "Must be a ghost thing.", she thought and shrugged her shoulders.
Locating the children wasn't hard. The plasma, that was constantly flowing around her body, gave off a soft bluish light. It helped her to find her way around the room. Guided by their sobs and cries, she had soon found three miserable children. The trio consisted of a baby Phanpy, Azurill and a young Wooper with a funny looking paper hat. She was even lucky enough to encounter two eggs, although they would neither cry nor cough.
"There, there.", she whispered, while scooping up the tiny Azurill in her hands and gently placing it on the Phanpy's back. "Everything will be fine, you'll see.", she said and carefully gave it one of the eggs to hold on to. Taking the second egg in her own two hands, she extended the plasma tail that hung from her head, letting it act as a third hand and offered it to the shivering Phanpy. Feeling the light tug, as the young elephant wrapped his trunk around it, she made a cheerful face und happily proclaimed; "Keep your heads low and we'll be out in no time!"

Only five days left and I'm hopelessly behind on everything. Oh well, nothing like a deadline breathing down your neck. %D
In the meantime. have another glimpse from Team Mischiefs first mission. Zoe has found a bunch of kids inside the smoke filled daycare and is leading them towards safety. :3

Thank you. The little animals on the diaper are oc's of mine from my siesta-section and the paper hat is a tribute to a wooper that was pretty well known in PMD-E.

Ah so you mixed it all. Yes I've seen those "siesta" animals on your profile, I just wasn't sure what is it all about. I googled it a bit and couldn't find anything so obviously it's your own creation.
But your true passion is pokemon related stuff I suppose?

Yeah, the Siestas (for a lack of better name) are creations of mine, so I'd be surprised if they'd pop up anywhere else than here.
Nah, I wouldn't say that Pokémon is my true passion. I like tweaking on my Siesta-universe, but I haven't had any ideas for a central pun, which is usually how I start out on those pictures.
I originally joined PMD-E as a means of rekindling my passion for drawing (or at least challenge myself and see how I handle deadlines and objectives, as I've always shied away from taking commissions, seeing that my motivation to draw would instantly drop to zero). I never got to actually do anything in PMD-E, as the group was closed shortly after my joining. So I was very pleased when PMD-U was founded and now I'm trying my best to get myself into drawing a bit more often, as well as experiment more with the programs I'm using and style. So far it's been fun for the most part.

Sounds exciting! Funny name, though. Who's the main character? Is it the pangolin? I saw the plushies.
Good luck with your work in PMD-U. Being a pokemon fan myself I like to check this kind of pokemon related groups every so. And this one seems like fun.

Hmm, it's hard to tell if there really is a main character in front of everyone else. The larger animals in the jungle are more main compared to most of the smaller critters, as you can't really tell them apart from each other. Rocky the Frog, although being a critter and a side character manages to sneak himself into every picture so far. As for story, the only one that does have a story at the moment is Willy the Pangolin. I have an idea for a children's book story that would have him and Al'Capone the Tiger as main characters in that story. Hopefully PMDU will help me in that regard, that I might actually put that idea on to paper at some point. 
On another note I love to read Nuzlockes and have tried nuzlocking some myself (with little success, as I usually end up getting a bit too reckless while grinding or prior to entering a gym...)

Ah Nuzlockes. My friend is a big fan, me not so much. The thing about Nuzlockes is the fear that you could lose your pokemon at any given moment.

Nope, due to most of these characters spawning while drawing, without much thought to their personalities and possible stories. Knowing what I want to draw in advance has a bad habit of disheartening me, so I try to just get the basic idea and then take it from there as I go. In general I dislike the concept of labeling someone either good or bad.
Yeah, usually I end up cheating (restarting from the last save point when things go bad, but then it doesn't feel right anymore and I end up restarting the whole game). There are some great comics out there though like this one: mewitti.deviantart.com/gallery… and I think the founder of PMD-E used team mates from her own Nuzlocke-comic as NPC's in the world of PMD-E later. That's one of the paths that led me to the group.

Wow, great pencil work! This kind of scraps can be very interesting for viewers who want to observe the drawing process. I see you started with the fat crocodile and then just let the imagination go.
I know! Cheating just doesn't feel so good in the end, does it? And thanks for the link, some decent comics there. I'll tell my friend about it, I'm sure she will love it.

Yeah, in the end you're only cheating yourself. Started a new run a few weeks ago. Lat time didn't go well (damn electric gym), but I saved afterwards. Now I just need to resume playing. xD
