The Wanderer was silent for a time, and after a moment’s consideration, spoke, “It is that which runs the endless expanse of the Paths. That which burst forth from the sacred moment that was the bloodletting that occurred from the first Hunt. A sovereign unto itself, it yields only to one. It is that which charges into different worlds and realities in search for worthy quarries. Countless beings have fallen to it and pantheons of gods were wiped out for standing against it. It is the Apex of the Hunt, yet it is also the Guardian of the Paths. Whatever purpose or reasoning it has is known only to itself. Even amongst the countless twisted beings that dwell within the Paths, it stands apart.”
