Personality: Laid back, somewhat happy-go-lucky, lighthearted man of humor, easily entertained by topics and things he enjoys, can be a bit of a people pleaser. Loves animals (especially rodents) and would fight for them. Pleasant to interact with, normally very reasonable with his actions; however if someone is really pushing his buttons the wrong way, and he deems them deserving of some attitude, he'll give them attitude;

  He can harden his skin by will, however hardening his skin will submit it to cracks, that would sprinkle or in worse cases pour spicy salty licorice powder until sealed (his equivalent of bleeding).
Hair changes colors according to his mood, alongside with his tongue, that will match the current color of his hair.
  When angry/frustrated, if pushed far enough his hair might even emit legitimate flames, that he can willingly suppress as soon as he realizes it, or can be extinguished by throwing water or a dense cloth over his head (also a good way to get him to snap out of it, haha--).
His skin tastes like sweet licorice candy.
  His tongue can taste like citrus (blue), strawberry (red), melon (orange) and licorice (brown/black) according to his mood...

History:

Tyler was born in the city in an ordinary family, he had his parents, a couple siblings, and quite the average household. His family's wealth was moderate, so he didn't lack anything in his life as a child really, except for maybe a reliable social network.
In his pre-teen and teen years he was bullied, even by those he once considered friends, which developed trust issues and social anxiety for him, which then again would carry on to his adult life.

He got therapy and counceling for these issues as they were interfering with his everyday life, and was eventually even recommended that, if possible, he'd get an emotional support animal. So, he decided to start keeping rodents, as he had owned mice before, when he was younger. He adopted a senior rat and fell in love with the animal. As a senior animal the rat of course soon passed.
He kept keeping new rats throughout the years as the last ones passed, and even had a hamster at one point, but he would never think of them as a replacement for the last ones; he would always recognize them as separate beings that had way different personalities.

In his later teens he had got a simple beginner tattoo machine and practiced tattooing onto his willing friends. He once even decided to tattoo himself, that tattoo turning out to be the text on his left forearm that spells "NO RATTING OUT", it being both a rat pun and him telling himself "to heck with it", as prior to making it Tyler was nervous as he hadn't quite decided what to make the tattoo ought to be and wasn't really sure what it would be like to ink himself.
The tattoo might've not turned out the best of quality back in the days, but he went back to it later on and touched it up.

During his 20's he moved into his own apartment, still keeping rats and practicing tattooing and designing tattoos independently as he studied art and design in college. He ended up dropping out due to emotional pressure.
Around these times he also got his yin and yang -inspired rat tattoo which he designed himself but commissioned someone else to do as tattooing one's own shoulder is much harder that one's forearm, heh.

Tyler moved to a different apartment when 23, still with no degree, but got himself a job at a tattoo and piercing studio first as an apprentice, later being made one of the main tattoo artists there as his skill was recognized. While working in the studio, he's had his piercings and his arm sleeve tattoo done there by his coworkers, however (again) the design being one of his own work.

Currently he still has the same apartment and the same job, but has two new rats, Strawberry Swirl or "Berry" and Lemon Zest or just "Zest" , that are his priced possessions alongside his very own proper complete professional tattoo machine set that he's lovingly named "Rosalinda" or "Rosa" in short.

Tyler is kinda two character ideas fused, he was gonna be a pretty toned down version of himself when it comes to looks, and was supposed to have a whole different job, and there was this other character idea I had that was gonna be a very tatted candy dude that was a tattoo artist himself, but I discarded the idea cuz I couldn't really get a design for him down so I just took some aspects of that character and put that into Tyler-- yeaaah.
In case you noticed the sleeve tattoos in the two main pictures in the app look a little inconsistent to the separate picture of the tattoo on the left, that's because I wasn't entirely set with the design of the arm sleeve when I drew the first picture, and was too lazy to go fix it later on lol
