Description
Whilst taking a break from finishing all my other things, I started something new.Which is pretty stupid really, it's what I'm NOT supposed to be doing.
But I'll never stifle those creative flows when they happen or I might end up with a dam and then I'll burst and it'd be all messy everywhere and stuff.
This started off as a vague doodle then became an excersise in light, shadow, tone and simplicity.
I don't know what part of my strange mind this cat came from but I'm glad it arrived from somewhere as I'm really pleased with the result and, again, it's something different from my usual style.
I'm beginning to wonder what my "style" is actually.
When I do get round to getting a print account this piece will be in it. Then I can buy it. Oh the vanity of it all.
Wacom, Paintshop Pro, Five Hours and Photoshop for the borders & text.
MY CAT LIKES TO STARE!
Thank you for looking

Whooo! That's so cool!
I'm totally envious.
When I was born I had two operations on my left eye to correct a squint. Everything's fine and normal now but because the muscles in my eye were affected it means I can't focus in a certain way. I look at two seperate images and see one, if you get what I mean?
Actually I don't even get what I mean from that, ummm.
If I look through binoculars, I see two images, my eyes won't merge that image into one, they focus independantly from each other and my mind can't decide which image to look at.
Still confusing, I'm confused now.
I can't see those seperated 3D images either, the red/blue or red/green ones, I can't remember the proper name for those images now and it's going to bug me. I think it beings with A or maybe not. Nevermind.
That's the reason I can't see those magic eye pictures, because they work on the same premise.
I'm still staring at this picture trying to see the naked lady though

I have the same eye problem... I had one operation on my right eye when I was young. I see too images too when looking trough binoculars. So thats why I coudn't see Micey (in a "magic eye" book thingy )
I end up only useing my left eye, cause the right eye is not as good as the left. And when I don't use the right eye it slowly gets worse...might end up blind XD.
But back to you're art. It's awesome!! You made this digitaly?!!! It looks like it's carved in bone! The 3D is so amasing! The light is put in with such an acurasy, it looks real! I have to fave it =^_^=

ah...
my eyes are quite screwed as well - degenerative lenses and messed up luminosities...
the problems with my focusing is actually what allows me to see the magic eyes the way i do
the woman however, was probably jsut sex on the brain.

Are you kidding? Even the close-up looks like a photo of a statue! It's amazing, and entirely believable! I love the saturation in the strong shadows.

Thank you!
If I still had any of my old wood carving tools I'd be tempted to try to carve this.
But I don't.
Darn it.

Thank you
It does look egyptian doesn't it. I think it's the curves and angle of the head.
I'm going to check with my subconcious on that as the only egyptian thing I've seen today was an unlocked arena in Soul Calibur II which didn't look remotely egyptian, h'mmm.
Anyways, rambling aside.
Thank you for taking the time to view my work and for commenting
