Fun Fact: Cosmo's colour scheme is loosely based on Cosmo from the Fairly Odd Parents. I've always loved the name Cosmo, even before the show, though!

Fun Fact II: It's only several years after Kokiri was named that I realise there's a Kokiri Forest in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Truth be told, my friend and I were camping in his backyard, and laaaaaate at night when I was telling him about Kotier, I brought up Kotier's mate and mentioned she didn't have a name. We just made random noises until one came together to sound somewhat coherent It went something like this: "KKkkchiiizzeee... K... I think it should start with a K. Kooooommah. Kawwwmmmmoooowah. Koe? Kkkkchaaaat. Kooooh-... keeee... hmmmm.... reeee...? Ohh, I LIKE that one! Koe-kee-ree. How do I spell that? K-O... K-E-E-R-I-E? Hmm... nah... K... E-E... R-I? What about K-I-R-I? K-O-K-I-R-I? Kokiri?"

Fun Fact III: Ert is named after a friend of a friend that I met once when I went with them to the Snoqualmie Mountaineer's Lodge. The Lodge was a sanctuary for all of us kids, but someone burnt it down. It was the product of 100% volunteer time and donated materials from over fifty years ago. Due to that, there's almost no money to be had in rebuilding it. I don't think the person, Ert, has any idea this character exists. Also, Ert was nicknamed that since his real name was Eric, and my friend said, "There are just too many Erics! You shall be an Ert instead." It stuck.

Fun Fact IV: Daeved ( specifically his mane ) was originally based on... some character from Dragon Ball Z. Trunks, maybe? It's been soooo long since I watched that show, I have no idea who's who. Anyway, as you can see, we've come a long way since then, now that his mane is much less... wild and anime-y.

Fun Fact V: Brent was named after a friend of my brother, and the character design is roughly based on the monster-critters from the first Scooby-Doo live-action movie. Was it the first one? I don't remember.

Fun Fact VI: Skeeter was never intended to be a character. When she passed away, I drew a picture of her, and the character has reappeared several times since.

Godrick; Vampire - Godrick and Iyera are twins, and the eldest children born to Kokiri and Kotier. Godrick has an all-around bad attitude. He's not the least bit friendly, and seems to suffer from a "Small Dog Complex", constantly lashing out and antagonising those of higher social order than he. In the small family group that he belongs, he ranks only second to the bottom, Quay usually being the lowest of the pecking order and quite content with that placement. Godrick, however, is not content with his placement and fights to change it about as often as he can.

Iyera; Vampire - Iyera and Godrick stick together for the most part. They've taken to savaging from various towns and villages in the general vicinity of their home. They tend to stay away from their parents and two younger brothers as much as they can ( albeit, they have the most patience with Quay and sometimes even approach him for help with various goals ). Iyera is much calmer and more even-tempered than her brother, but she is still a force to be reckoned with.

Kokiri; Vampire - Kokiri wants no part of anything. She'd be quite happy just being a hermit, but when she and Kotier found each other in their youth - both recently orphaned, and trying to survive - they latched onto each other, and haven't let go since. Kokiri grew up within "civilisation", but as a slave. As time has passed, she has become more and more bitter, allowing herself to become more and more feral in her thoughts and actions. Kotier, however, refuses to leave her alone, and often forces her to confront circumstances that she would otherwise not deal with. She only has patience for Kotier, and only because he can match her in a duel. Kotier's patience with her is unending and unwavering, but he will never skirt a fight, especially when someone else starts it.

Ert; Quessen - Ert is a character that really hasn't been developed much, but I've drawn him a few times. I just thought his design would be a fun one to showcase since it's so very different than most of the others.

Kyeaideh; Werebat - Ky-bat may or may not be the were-form of Kaid. Of this I haven't decided yet, but that's where this character started - in a comic my friend was writing and I was illustrating called "Edennia". There's a ~ above one of those Ns, I'm pretty sure. This is the design that seems to have stuck with the name Kyeaideh the most.

Cosmo; Lukiria - We really haven't seen much of this character, except in a comic about chupacabras whose heads explode. Yeah. It was made in middle school.

Daeved; Lukiria - Another character we haven't seen much of, but I love his colour scheme. I'd like to work more with this character, but haven't yet found a good place to work him in.

Colin Davenport; Human - Colin was partnered with Neil for the section in time when the Polish branch of the genetics alteration project became a super-soldier training facility. It didn't last long, and Colin resigned from his position shortly after beginning, leaving the project under Neil's full control. Colin still works in the Earth Military, but in a completely different rank and facility. He would rather work for the betterment of mankind through peaceful avenues than war.

Bairre SilverFeather; Earthen Elf - Bairre and Aloe are two characters that have always been "around", but never really have done much. When Jack was exiled, they took him in and sheltered him before his exile was to begin, but that's about the only good deed these two have done. They're both extremely prejudiced both against humans, and even amongst the varying elven families. Bairre believes whole-heartedly that the SilverFeathers should be the family with the most sway and influence amongst the council, and that the FallPaws are nothing but a family of corrupt, moral-shaming abominations that absolutely should not have as much power as they do. Bairre believes that the SilverFeather family should have just as much if not more influence as the FallPaws in order to balance them out, and is always looking for ways to boost SilverFeather influence while simultaneously undermining the FallPaws - which is, in fact, why he took in Jack - so he could observe first hand how awful these creatures were and say for himself why they should be taken out of power.

Aloe SilverFeather; Earthen Elf - Aloe shares most of her husband's beliefs, but is not nearly as vocal or proactive about them. She's much more apt to simply glower and make off-hand remarks about how awful everyone else is. When Jack was staying with them, Aloe frequently gave him the worst of whatever was available - burnt or unflavoured parts of a meal, only the smallest slivers of soap, the old, ragged blankets, and so forth.

Nina Schmidt; Human - Nina is Roderik's younger sister. I haven't really developed her beyond that point.

Brick; Cockatiel - Brick is a cockatiel that lives with Roderik's family. He was named by Nina.

Jordon FallPaw; Earthen Elf - Jordon and Sylvia are about the polar-opposites of Aloe and Bairre. The only reason they did not take their son in during his exile is because it is against elven law for an elf sentenced to exile to spend their "grace period" with blood-related family. If the SilverFeathers didn't already have a watch on them, they probably still would have housed Jack before his sentence was to be carried out, though. Jordon tries nothing more than to keep the peace between the families - especially after two of Aloe and Bairre's daughters married two of Jordon and Sylvia's sons. Tension has been tight at the most recent Gatherings, and despite Jordon's attempts to make peace, none of his actions have been reciprocated. With unwavering tenacity, he vows to someday be deemed "alright" by the SilverFeathers, though.

Sylvia FallPaw; Earthen Elf- Sylvia spends a great deal of her time simply keeping up with her children, grand children, nieces, nephews, and all other forms of family as much as she can. She loves nothing more than family gatherings, and playing as a host. She's one of those people that's supportive of anyone's dreams, and whatever makes them happy.

Brent; Spirit - Brent occasionally joins with Skeeter and Ryli to try and keep the spirit world in balance. He spends most of his time doing his own things, but is crafty in the ways of sneaking around and uncovering hidden information, frequently reporting back to Skeeter about his finds, but seldom doing much of anything that could directly involve him.

Skeeter; Spirit - Skeeter is, by all means, a guardian angel type. She spends most of her time trying to find and combat corruption - especially the kind that may leak into the physical realm. She wields no weapon, but rather simply uses kindness, happiness, and unconditional love to power her connection to The Light, and lets The Light do all the work it needs to do to fizzle out The Darkness and shed Life into those areas which have been overcome by Death. Or well, that's what I'm going to say from now on at least.

Erchie; Ekishi - Erchie and Mike have become some of the first Lopians to join with the Earth Military. Since schooling is done quite differently on Lopezz, they did not meet the prerequisites needed to be full-fledged Earth Military members, but an exception was made for them since they seemed like quite intelligent and eager individuals, so the Lopian branch of the Earth Military took them on and has trained them how to be laboratory technicians. Erchie is Mike's uncle, and thus the oldest of the two. Life's a joke to him, and he takes everything with optimism and humour, being quite relaxed about his actions, and not minding taking things slow in order to get them done in the best ways possible.

Mike; Ekishi - Mike ( again, NOT his original name - he took on "Mike" to "fit in better" with the humans - this actually is becoming a trend on Lopezz and Makrabeh ) is much more to-the-point, eager to complete things quickly, and has little patience for not taking things seriously. He thinks that Erchie's views on life are simple and naive, but seldom fights about it since Erchie is his elder, and by all means therefore in an authoritative position over him.

"Earth Military" was an idea I piggy-backed and warped over time that originated with ~nnys-daughter
