So. Hirokazu.I like him. I don't get why people don't like him. Everyone likes a goggleboy! And Hirokazu has that perfect goggleboy personality - energetic, optimistic, rather loud and arrogant and short-tempered and quick to action and also the most loyal friend you could ever ask for.
But no one likes him. I guess it's because he's not the main character. Tamers' goggleboy is about as ungoggleboy as you can get. Takato is a giant sweetie with a dangerously low self-esteem. I love the kid, but he's a wannabe goggleboy character. He can be a goggleboy and keep his lovely goggles, he deserves it, but Hirokazu is the TRUE goggleboy character of Tamers. Without the goggles.
So here you go, Hirokazu, your complimentary goggles. 'Cause you deserve 'em too.

Hirokazu was awesome.
But I can only imagine how traumatized he would have ended up if he were in Takato's place, what with Tamers being Evangelion for kids and all.

I actually liked Takato. He was original. Unlike all the other goggle boys, who were exactly the same -- energetic, optimistic, rather loud and arrogant and short-tempered and quick to action, as you say. XD It was nice having a goggle boy who didn't spam "ore" and who actually used suffixes for his peers' names. He acted more like season 2's Takeru Takaishi than anyone else. <3
I do like Hirokazu, though. And you're right; he has a very goggle-like personality. XD

wow this is scary i just finished getting kazu on a personality quiz then i see this picture [nice work i love him] the scary part is MY BEST FRIEND SCORED KENTA AND WE BOTH LOOK LIKE THEM AND ACT i have short messy brown hair and im always cracking jokes and shes got glasses and is very smart and follows me everywere wow this is well to much of cowincedince [if you havent notice im also a terrible speller sorry] lol now im scared

Goggleboys = 
In fact, all characters using goggles have a special place in my heart, be them male or female. I even cosplayed as one! (unfortunately, there are no gogglegirls in Digimon... T_T).
You're right, Hirokazu is a very understimated character. I never thought of him being the true goggleboy of Tamers, but that's a good point. I never really hated him... not like I did hate Ryo in the past... XD *Ruki fangirl*
