These are references to my ongoing parody OZ series. The PARODY series is a mix of ALL OZ medias. From the original books, to the all the different movies and even games. So in this version of OZ I had to rework some characters to maneuver around these different AUs to merge them into one. With that being said, enjoy this garbage AU I continue to make.

REFERENCE FIVE:

Chang Wang Woe aka The Scarecrow

Once a Silverman Emperor, Chang Wang Woe was murdered at the age of 35 by a magician from the Golden Island. He was transformed into a crocus and quickly dying. His wife, the empress, Tsing Tsing watered this crocus with her tears for three days and on the fourth a bean pole sprouted from it with a silver parchment that said “Into the first being who touches this magic pole—on the other side of the world—the spirit of Emperor Chang Wang Woe will enter. And fifty years from this day, he will return—to save his people." And then a munchkin farmer put a scarecrow on his pole and thus THE Scarecrow was came to life with no recollection of who he truly was and to this day still knows very little about his past.

Scarecrow thirsts for knowledge and wants to know everything about the world and how it works. He loves problem solving, puzzles, and anything that makes him have to think. He comes across as uncaring and stuck up because if it’s common knowledge he’s not exactly subtle about pointing out ones stupidity.

He has a secret lab in his mansion that he experiments on living test subjects. His experiments ranges from harmless to extremely harmful. He does it all in the name of knowledge, and those who contribute, their sacrifice does not go unnoticed. Many of his “volunteers” either don’t know what they’re about to undergo, or he literally kidnaps people and animals. It’s a service to their country that they comply and do this for the Scarecrow....though Ozma legit has no clue that he’s doing this, and neither does his friends. There’s rumors about it, but until proved guilty, good luck.

He once asked Dorothy to marry him, but she thought he was joking. So he married Scraps, the Patchwork Girl, because he knew she adored and admired him. Their marriage is rocky and complicated as their personalities clash horribly. Scarecrow finds her to be a challenge and he likes a challenge. He likes to see what makes her tick, and her being mentally unstable further intrigues him. He does love her but loves two others as well.

Scarecrow will admit that Nick Chopper is the ONLY man he’s ever been interested in. Not only because he’s his best friend, but because Nick loves him, and tries to get Scarecrow to get in touch with his emotional side, but that doesn’t always happen. He tends to hang out with Nick more than he does his own wife, even if it’s just doing bro shit. He’s missed many date nights with his wife because he forgets and is hanging out Nick.

Dorothy Gale is another one that Scarecrow will do ANYTHING for, and I mean anything. Want him to go on adventures with her, sure thing. Temporarily turn human and have a sexual affair with her, you bet! Mass murder just because she said to do, he’ll do it. Talk shit about Dorothy, you’ll get scythe to the chest or decapitated instantly. He’ll fuck you up, try him.

Scarecrow’s weapon of choice is a scythe, a sickle, and/or the murder of crows he is able to control. Piss him off, and shit’s gonna get ugly real fast, real quick.

Scarecrow also “kidnapped” Ruggedo’s second born son, and is raising the child as his own. He renamed the kid Rocco because he was not about to call him Ruggedo Jr. He did this before Ruggedo was dethroned, and Ruggedo had no clue that the scarecrow was the one who took the kid. The kid literally asked Scarecrow if he could go to Oz with him and Scarecrow legit was like “Ima adopt you ‘cause I wanna know how Nomes tick.” Luckily he developed an attachment to Rocco so he does not experiment on him, like he originally intended to do.

Scarecrow is the prime minister to Ozma’s court, but he doesn’t hang around the Emerald city too much. He likes to stay on Winkie County with Nick, or be at home in Munchkinland doing whatever.

Him and Wogglebug are enemies and their pissing contests are pretty intense of who can outsmart who. Sometimes it even ends in a fist fight. Wogglebug thinks Scarecrow is a moron, while Scarecrow thinks Wogglebug is a condescending prick. They cannot be in the same room as one another with insults being thrown at one another.
