I made everything of my costume. He's still not quite finished. lol He's an ongoing process. Most of it is just details, really, though, and remaking parts.

Yep! I made the hood, shirt, vest, skirt flap things, greaves, armor, and blades. Pretty much the only thing I did not actually make or modify were the pants and boots. I styled and cut the wig, even.

that is so cool you stitched the shirt from scratch and everything else too...i don't have a machine so i have to buy base pieces and reform them and they turn out really crappy due to my lack of concentration though i love dressing up...and i am pretty cheap when it comes to making things....

I hand stitched and hand set rivets and corset lacing holes in a spaghetti top with lacing in back and simple Renaissance top skirts, but besides that i have never sown full shirts and pieces...and the spaghetti top took a long time stitching by hand....

do you think the cosplay contests would call something like me taking an old piece of clothing and heavily modifying it as something I made/crafted and all other things i made such as the hat, mask, and modified accessories and would it be allowed in the competition and what skill level can I enter it as? I am fairly new to Cosplay...

Most contests usually require you make at least 75% of your costume. You could always try!

oh..my costume, Dr. Malfatto, i would be making mask 100%, gloves 50% (covering cotton gloves with leather and rib stiching by hand), making trichon hat 100% from scratch, covering boots with 100% hand made by me from scratch boot covers, making 45% of belt, for the long trench coat I will be getting a monk robe (cutting the front and hand set in buttons from neck to bottom and hand pleating the forearm area and all that would be calling 35% make of robe), and i will be covering and actual WW II syringe to look like the one in the game...would that work?

Well, definitely for a costume. I don't normally enter costume contests, and I usually make everything myself. I just don't like contests. But it never hurts to ask, or let the judges know!

I only stitch simple leather skirts, chokers, simple Roman or Greek dresses and modify other pieces...yep handstitching is hard...

It's a wig. lol It was a friend of mine's and she didn't need it anymore. It was perfect for Ezio so she let me have it. I'm not sure where she got it. She's had it for a while though.
