Rule of thumb is to inspect an artists work before you get anything done, really. That, and to see how adamant they are about your business. I really looked into the guy I went to before I decided on him, despite how simple a tattoo this was. lol

I always go back to the same two tattoo artists. I know both their strengths so it depends on what I get done. But I researched both before going to either.
