I've always had a passion for bows and crossbows since I got a toy bow for Xmas in the early 70's.
I guess I never made one because I don't think there are good flexible wood where I live, so I always drool on images like this. Congratz on a great piece.

Let me take a look, if you are REALLY curious, if you have country land, experiment, i am sure if you have hardwoods you can give them a try.
I learned what i know now from trial and error, you have to start somewhere. i still do stave bows, if you want to start, i will give you as much help as i humanly can. I love to teach, and i would love to hook someone on the craft. oh, and sorry demo~ for hijacking this, i just want to help
