I never actually used an brushs here beyond the standard smooth and fuzzy basic ones on photoshop (that's the formal terms for them o_O, though I wish I had as I've lost all mine.

Oh, great expression and awesome shading. I especially like the hand on the ground, and the fur. Those are the best parts.

The wing on the left (our left) looks like it's got some really sharp shading that needs to be worked in, though. Some great lighting on this piece you have.

I'd forgotten to shade the one wing in my haste to finish the image (I get bored easily and have one hell of a short attention span), if you wanna check back at anytime you'll see it all fixed!

ohhhh wow.. Grat job on the highlights.. you do such impressive lighting and shading in your pieces.. it makes them so in depth and real looking.. This guy is really an original lookikng creature too.. I've seen alot of tigerish/catish looking dudes and a lot of gargoyle dudes, but never a mix done as well as this. His anatomy for his body and fur is very believable.. if I had to nitpick something though. I'd say the wings.. thers something about htem that isn't matching in depth to the rest of the picture..

I'm really trying with my lighting and the like but somehow I either try a little too hard or I just slack off, either way it never looks right somehow.
Rags (the neko-jin-thing) is an odd mix of human, domestic cat and (fruit... I think) bat, hence the wings, but I love to play up the demon ic look to him because that's what I'm into art-wise.
Ahhh... The wings... Ooops, damn... I forgot to finish one of them.
You are the first person to point that out!... THANK YOU!
I kept thinking I gotta finish that etc but I forget and get caught up in the moment. I'll fix those right up and re-submit!
I'm too scatter brained for my own good I swear.

That is really freaking fantastic. I wish I knew how do do such dramatic lighting, dodge tool never seems to work well for me, what do you use?

I just love everything contained within this image, the mood of it and the character also has a wonderful design. Amazing work!

Never used the dodge tool, I'm a little too basic for it, I just paint (rightly or wrongly) with photoshop the same way I paint with acrylics and just layer the colours constantly, I use standard brushes or create my own... I'm no good with computers...

This is truely wonderful in terms of realism. I could never try and draw a anthromorphic creature to save my life in a way like this. Blood is truely a tricky thing to master, but you seem to have it down pretty well and it's really a nice addition to add to a 'dark' type image

I am saying that he should live, he seems like a very interesting and awesome character (As well as the others I have seen in your gallery) and he shouldn't have to die

I like anthro work can sometimes I get really shy of putting any body into that area and it seems a shame that sometimes it gets artistically treated a bit of a dirty little secret...
And bloods a pain in the rear! It drove me nuts with this!
Though I never think of Rags as anthro, everyone else tell me he is! I guess that's because I know all his boring, confusing back story.

Beautiful colouring/shading, and you make the anthropomorphism look so natural and real. Very atmospherical colours. My favourite part is the clothing folds, they're shaded fantastically.

His expression was meant to be rage but it just formed into this lost, hopeless pain, I think that worked better in the end. (that and somehow I couldn't get him to focus...)
