POTC art! Tis a random scene I wanted to draw. The kid in Pintel's lap of course is Elizabeth's son, who remains un-named but who I fondly like to think is called James. I'm sure Barbossa and his crew try to drop by every now and again.And look, Elizabeth's telling one of her gory tales. What fun! Barbossa looks so thrilled. At least he has apples to munch on. XD;
Took me freakin' forever to get around to coloring thanks to lack of scanner hook-up. You can thank Earthenwing for beaning me over the head and demanding I stop tooling around and post it. XD

You know, when I first saw this I thought maybe she was telling the story of the time she started believing in ghost stories, and Barbossa's thinking "That's not how it happened..."
And Pintel is totally that guy who kids love, and who pretends they're annoying him, but who secretly loves them back.

Awwww! This is so funny and cute. Faving for theΒ idea of Pintel and Raggetti helping take care of Elizabeth's kid. I never really liked how POTC II and III changed the happy ending of the original, but this helps make it feelΒ a bit better.

I absolutely adore the expressions in this piece. The campfire's glow is so well done, it really brings the whole concept together. Although, I must say, I feel sort of bad for poor Ragetti...he looks as if he may soil himself...either way, definitely going in my favs!

Elizebeth's face is the best, so sadistic. Everything is brilliant, all their faces, the lighting, all of it. Is very atmospheric.

Hee. Earthy thought she was talking about how she once castrated this guy . . . but I think she's talking about François l'Olonoise, one of the cruelest pirates ever. He is reported to have pulled out a prisoner's heart and started chewing on it while interrogating him. @.@; Not sure if that's possible, but he's done other horrific stuff besides.
