Some of these pictures are based on an RP I'm doing with kelly1_watxm. It'll be Forge/Mort, one-sided Pietro/Mort, and Pietro/Dom.Joanna Cargille ("Frenzy") is a Marvel character that I've Evo-ized (and now also WATXMized). Her powers are super strength - she can bench press cars! - and so I figured she and Freddy would get along. He needs the love in both Evo and WATXM.
Todd and Martinique (also a Marvel character, Evo-ized - see "Mastermind" in wikipedia) are one of my fave things to draw. I adore Todd/Kurt, but I do enjoy a bit of het now and then and these two are surprisingly adorable together. I'm working on more sketches for them.
Vincent Thelios is a mutant character I entirely made up for the purpose of this RP. He's about seventy - though most would place him around forty or fifty at first glance - and a total dork about birds. I'm having fun playing him.
I've never played/written an old character before.

For some reason I can only review via reply... first off I love the sketches.... also whoa... such an awesomly random pairing Mastermind II and Toad.... freakin' sweetness in a box man... I also agree with your WXM couplings.. onesided P/M... also... sounds weird but I am determined to find out the Forge/Toad fanthing... I mean yeah it is nifty, but how in hellz bellz did it surface.... also I love Mastermind II 's design.

Joanna and Mort are adorable!!! and they make my heart squee with joy. 
Also, bottom left corner = killing me with sad. (Umm, but your Pietro? With his delicate features and his pretty angles and his high high impossibly high cheekbones and his messy rain hair and his guilty frown? UMM MOAR PLZ, DO WANT. Because, crap woman, rooowwwr.)

I am so glad Vincent turned out - I drew and redrew him a million times and the man was determined to have no chin. I am terrible at drawing people with no chin. Thank goodness Rachel helped me on it.
And I would like to draw Pietro like that all the time. o.o Because sometimes in WATXM, they draw him really . . . well, let me put it this way. The first time Rachel saw Watxm!Pietro on TV, she said: "Damn. Did he do a lot of hard drugs as a teenager?" Which sorta cracked me up, because in some episodes, he seems to have more wrinkles than Eric! Though they kinda fixed that in 'Backlash', thank goodness. @.@;
Sorry, had to rant at the animators just a little. XD;

I really like all the characters shown here! (Though I think I'm more a fan of Mertinique's sister... Regan is wayyy better in the comics imo... But Jason is still the best in my heart haha)
In the RPs I'm a part of, Todd and 'Tro usually hate each other's guts... I'd be interested in knowing what happened to inspire that bottom left pic!!

yeah, I like Regan, but I can see Martinique being constantly shadowed by her. She'd show up and the rest of the BoM would be all O~~O *drool* over Reg, except Toad, who would stubbornly insist that his 'Cuddlebumps' Wanda is the fairest of them all. And then get hexed for his troubles.
In my fanworld, Evo!Martinique is very drawn to that and thus drawn to Todd. XD But yes, Regan is awesome. Martinique's powers are basically a type of glamor which she uses to try and make herself as pretty, but it only goes so far. Plus she grew up in a convent/boarding school in Italy and doesn't believe in things like shaving her legs, or waxing her eyebrows, or wearing makeup, or dieting - which kinda ostracizes her a bit from the other girls at Bayville High.
It ends up being Todd who befriends her, and then convinces her that she doesn't have to be extra cute for somebody to like her. Eventually, when Wanda hexes him one times too many, Todd chooses to return Martinique's affection.

I like that!! Very interesting! She is -very- cute with Todd-- and his type, too, it looks like! Dark hair, a little gothy... curvy xD Such a cool backstory, too! Is her dad still monkey-mastermind? (You'd think Todd'd be a little pissed at her for her father's brainwashing of Wanda!)

Oh yeah, that will definitely be addressed. Marti at some point helps Wanda regain all her memories, because Wanda has so many nightmares that she can no longer sleep. Todd all but begs her to help, because Pietro won't defy his father to take her to Xavier's.
Well, Marti helps, but the shit hits the fan awful quick when Wanda goes after Todd in her rage.

Oh my gosh I love that issue too!! (I'm pretty sure that's the one with Pietro punching a dinosaur on the cover, yes? Which makes me giggle every time I see it) (Though I also kinda ship Dom/St.John comicverse too. But more in a B'awwwww their friendship is so adorable way) And own it! xDD Yesss!! Although, I wasn't a huge fan of the art in the Quicksilver miniseries... 'Tro didn't look enough like himself... and the part where Black Bolt literally SCREAMED in his face and he was 100% ok immediately was... I don't know :/

I absolutely ADORE the Maximoffs!! I love every generation. They are kind of a wreck, but wrecks make the most interesting characters, imo!
(I mean, the only time -Jean- was interesting was wayyy back in the day when she couldn't control her powers that well.. and when she was like, lusting after Scott but he was being cold xD)

I couldn't agree more! And I especially love like... family turmoil or relationship turmoil.
I think Jean sometimes gets the short end of the character stick. I sort of kind of like her, specifically for the stuff you just mentioned. Everybody kind of rags on here for being a sue (and sometimes she is, sure, depending on the writer) but there were times when she was relatable and interesting and awesome too.

Yup! I'd say I like Jean when she was Marvel Girl, but I'm not a fan of her in the animated shows or in a lot of her Uncanny appearances :/ But she's an okay character sometimes... it fluctuates xD
