About Ojoceratops--does it have fenestrae or not?

Good question. Therefore, the distribution of fenestrae in some ceratopsids varies widely due to both taphonomic and ontogenetic factors. In Ojoceratops for example we have a skull with squamosal fenestra (qilong.files.wordpress.com/201⦠and one without (phenomena.nationalgeographic.c⦠, to evidence of this.

Could you Possibly add Brachyceratops, Coronosaurus, Coronosaurus, Xenoceratops, Ceratops, Agathaumas, Anchiceratops, Arrhinoceratops, Bravoceratops, Dysganus, Judiceratops, Medusaceratops, and Polyonax?

Ummm.... Excuse me, but Bravoceratops is not a valid name for a juvenile version of Rubeosaurus.

Oops,
Also, could I use some of these for my own pictures? I'll give you full credit on the skull.

Man ceratopsians really do not differ much aside from horns and frill

Your welcome, it goes to show how anatomically correct you can be with felt- tip markers.
Ā
P.s. Why no dentaries?

Dennonyx In reply to PaleoJoe [2013-10-25 15:56:29 +0000 UTC]
Because most of the specimens shown here lack the lower jaw, so I preferred to avoid to restorate them... Also because within Ceratopsidae the lower jaws are somewhat undiagnostics and most of their autapomorphies are located in the skull.

In hindsight your right all of autopomorphies are in the skull , but I wonder if there could be a ceratopsian that was only based on a dentary.

No, there is not... (into Ceratopsidae)

Polyonax is very dubious, and I don't think I have the paper of it xD
