I'll point this out to you people, oekaki DOES NOT, repeat DOES NOT equal pixel art. Non-aliased drawings does NOT automatically make something pixel art. Freehanding something without colouraliasing only makes it an oekaki, it's still fundamentally a freehand drawing, that's what an oekaki is!

Read the description under pixel art in the deviant submission process. It’s art that’s made on a pixel-by-pixel basis. That means tweaking things on a miniscule basis, none of this freehanding nonsense.

Anyway.. read on if you actually want to make pixel art. I swear, if I was an art mod at dev I’d be deleting over 60% of the shit that gets submitted here...
