"Shrinkus Pinkus?" Twilight guessed unsurely.

Nothing happened. Twilight had been standing in her library analyzing a spell book for some time now. She had recently declared that she was determined to discover the Spell of Smallness, a magical spell which would shrink her to the size of a doll. She wasn't really going for the effect, but more of the accomplishment of solving it, something Twilight was having trouble with.

"It's been nearly three hours, you're better than this Twilight!" Twilight said anxiously to herself.

She ran her finger over every sentence hoping to find the spell. Twilight had already looked through the whole spell book three times, but to no avail.

"It must be hiding in here somewhere. What spell book wouldn't have a shrinking spell?" Twilight asked herself.

Her inquiries were answered however when she finally noticed an unusual build up of dust on her finger after looking through one particular page at the end. The book was old, but this appeared to be hiding something. Twilight brushed it off with her a hand and blew up any last bits of dust. Under it she discovered exactly what she was looking for.

"Aha! Here's the spell. Thought you could escape huh?" Twilight chuckled to herself.

She looked further into the book and examined the spell more closely, noticing that the effects were only temporay.

"Well, what could go wrong then?" Twilight said with a smirk.

Feeling prepared, she held the book up in the air.

"Spell of Shrinking, leave me shrunken!" Twilight said triumphantly snapping her fingers.

There was moment of silence, then Twilight suddenly began to shake. Her entire body vibrated intensely as the spell did it's work.

"Woah, this is weird!" Twilight exclaimed to herself.

After few moments of craziness, her body finally adjusted to the spell. Within a second, Twilight shrunk down instantly, smaller than a gumball. She was rather surprised by how quickly she shrunk. She affixed her eyes on something below her. A very large square shadow looming over her, and it was getting bigger, fast. Then suddenly...

*SQUASH*

The book that she once held in her hand, now twenty times bigger than her, came down hard, flattening Twilight under it with its weight. It bounced back up a bit and landed right next to her. Gravity was not kind and it left Twilight even thinner than the pages of the book, considering how tiny she was at the the time. Twilight was stuck. She was too flat to get herself up so she remained squashed onto the floor. She attempted to wiggle her body a little, but she simply had no strength in her flattened state.

"Ugh... this is not what I had in mind," Twilight said to herself, her face flatter than a sheet of paper.

She was like a little purple smudge on the ground. She considered if it was worth it. Solving a forgotten spell was great accomplishment, but in exchange for being squished? Not quite Twilights cup of tea. Suddenly the front door opened and a young blonde farm girl walked in.

"Hey Twilight! Mind if I grab those extra baskets I left here?" Applejack came in asking.

Applejack looked around for a bit in the seemingly empty library.

"Twilight? Hm, she must have stepped out. I guess I'll just get them myself then." Applejack said scratching her head.

She shrugged her shoulders and walked into the library to find where she put her baskets. Twilight immediately noticed her.

"Hey Applejack! Down here!" Twilight cried out, hoping Applejack would hear her.

Unfortunately she was just too small and flat to be heard. Even more unfortunate was Applejack was walking straight in her direction.

"Can this get any worse?" Twilight asked herself.

Immediately, Applejack's foot slammed down on Twilight as he walked passed, squishing her even further.

*SQUASH*

Applejack lifted her foot up and continued walking without noticing. What was left was a far wider and far thinner Twilight Sparkle. Her thighs three times wider than before and her belly basically two-dimensional.

"S-spoke too s-soon," Twilight struggled to say to herself, her had like a pancake that gone through a wringer.

Applejack quickly gathered her things and hurried back out the front door, stomping her heavy farm boots on her flattened friend one more time on the way out unknowingly. Twilight laid there helpless for an hour waiting for body to regain it's shape. If the spell carried any side-effects with it, it certain made her more malleable. Twilight looked completely ridiculous in her current state. After a while however, she managed to get some feeling back in her limbs. Lifting her flattened hand from the floor, she managed to grab her own squashed head and peel it up off of the ground.

"Phew, that's a bit better. Maybe now I can..." Twilight was said to herself, but was cut off by the front door opening once again.

Pinkie Pie stepped in and glanced around for Twilight.

"Helloooo! Twilight are you there?" Pinkie said loudly.

Twilight heard her, but was unsure where in the house she was. Pinkie was rushing around the house like for Twilight in her usual energetic manner.

"Uh-oh. P-Pinkie?" Twilight said, as she quickly struggled to try and peel the rest of her body up off of the ground.

However, her efforts were interrupted when one of Pinkies shoes came down on top of her.

*SQUISH*

Twilight didn't just squish flatter this time, but managed to stick to both Pinkie's shoe as she was trying to peel herself up.

"Twilight? Yoo-hoo? Are you there?" Pinkie said as she continued to walk throughout the house, completely oblivious that she was continually squishing Twilight even flatter under her shoe.

"Mmmmph!" Twilight murmered from under Pinkies shoe, but was left unheard.

Pinkie continued walking around the library looking for Twilight, flattening her more and more with every step. All of the constant stomping had left Twilight so squished that her body had started to take on a more gummy form. Every time she lifted her foot off the floor, Twilight was stretched off like gum and stuck back to her shoe. Pinkie eventually took notice off this.

"What's going on down here?" Pinkie asked herself as lifted her foot off the ground to take a peek.

She immediately noticed a purple blob with Twilights disoriented face in the middle. Pinkie didn't look too hard, so Twilight just looked like bubblegum to her.

"Ooooh, grape flavored gum!" Pinkie said with strange excitement.

She giggled and slowly peeled Twilight off her shoe, her body stretching long and thin before finally losing its grip on her shoe.

"I bet a quick rinse is all you need and you'll be fit for chewing!" Pinkie said with glee as she walked over to the sink and washed the blob down.

"Oh here we go," Twilight said to herself, nearly knocked out by how flat she had been pressed.

Pinkie tossed Twilight into her mouth and started chewing. Up and down, left and right, Twilight was being squished and squashed in all directions around Pinkies teeth. It felt surreal, but also extremely uncomfortable to Twilight.

"H-hey! Pinkie! C-cut... it... out!" Twilight shouted from inside Pinkies mouth, struggling to speak while being chewed.

Pinkie still didn't notice. She moved Twilight around in her mouth with her tongue and started blowing her up into a bubble, still assuming she was just bubblegum. Twilight was now just a big purple bubble with her strained face in the middle of it.

"Pinkie!" Twilight shouted from her spherical state.

Pinkie continued to blow until the bubble popped, leaving Twilight a splattered mess all over Pinkie's smiling face.

"Ugh..." Twilight groaned.

Her body had never been so softened, misshapen, and heavily squashed before. Pinkie scraped Twilight off of her lips, balled her up, and stuffed Twilight back into her mouth once again for some more chewing. But this time, Twilight was determined to make Pinkie notice her. Just as Pinkie began blowing her next bubble, Twilight mustered up all of her energy and shouted as loud as she could.

"PINKIE!" Twilight shouted.

Pinkie paused with surprise. This time, Twilight was popped out of her bubble form from the inflating. She had returned back to normal and fell into one of Pinkies hands. Pinkie brought her up to her face, filled with excitement and surprise.

"Twilight! There you are!" Pinkie exclaimed

Twilight looked up at Pinkie, obviously somewhat annoyed.

"Pinkie, why do you eat gum off your shoe?" Twilight asked, arms crossed.

"How can you not accept free gum? Besides, I washed it! Err... I mean you!" Pinkie said in her usual eccentric manner.

Twilight squeezed the bridge of her nose and let out a disappointed sigh.

"Okay, that's not weird at all. But more importantly... WHY DID YOU STEP ON ME AND THEN PUT ME IN YOUR MOUTH AND CHEW ME!?" Twilight shouted up at Pinkie in frustration.

"I thought you were bubblegum!" Pinkie giggled in response.

Twilight sighed to herself. She looked down from Pinkies hand to the spell book on the ground.

"I'm not gonna ask you why you're here, so can you let me down, please? I gotta find a way to get to unshrink myself.

Pinkies eyes lit up with even more excitement.

"Leave that to me! I've dealt with this before!" Pinkie said, clenching Twilight with excitement as she ran to another room.

"Pinkie wait!" Twilight yelled before being interrupted by all the commotion.

Twilights entire head bulged our of the top of Pinkies hand in a cartoony manner as she held her. Pinkie ran into the kitchen and tossed Twilight onto a counter in the middle of the room.

"Pinkie what's the matter with you?!" Twilight said, trying to catch her breath.

"I'm trying to fix you!" Pinkie responded enthusiastically as she rummaged through the cupboards.

She grabbed a rolling pin out of one of the drawers and rushed back over to Twilight who was sitting atop the counter.

"I don't see how you can help me with- wait... what are you doing with that rolling pin?"

"Doing what any caring friend would for a someone in your little situation," Pinkie responded as she put the rolling pin down on the counter beside.

"Pinkie wait!!" Twilight yelled, but was silenced by Pinkie flattening her down thin with the pin.

*SQUAAAASH*

She pressed it down hard and rolled it back and forth over Twilights little body. Over and over, Twilight could feel the hard, heavy roller pressing down on her frail little body, squishing her flatter and flatter with each pass. Eventually, Twilight was flattened into a life-size poster version of herself, nearly as long and wide as she was before she was shrunk. In addition to this, she was very, very thin. You could somewhat see through the flattened girl. After all, there wasn't much Twilight to go around. She had become rather woozy from all of the squashing.

"Now for step two," Pinkie said to herself as she peeled the paper-thin Twilight of the table.

She stood back and held Twilight at one end with both hands. Pinkie immediately started flapping Twilight up and down like a beach towel as fast as she could. Eventually she heard a loud pop.

"Woah!" Twilight yelled as he'd body pop back into shape and fell flat her behind.

Twilight looked at her hands and realised that she was the right size again, she looked back up at Pinkie confusingly.

"I'm not even gonna question how you did that," Twilight said in disbelief.

"You could always thank me!" Pinkie grinned.

Pinkie helped Twilight back up on her feet, still a little disoriented by the previous ordeal.

"I appreciate you getting me back to size Pinkie, but you do realise that the spell was only temporary right? " Twilight responded sincerely.

Pinkie giggled and pushed Twilights shoulder.

"Oh I know! But this way was a lot more fun!" Pinkie giggled.

Behold! The newest character to join my gallery!

I'm sure you noticed the greater quality of the story that went into making this one. It's much longer, dialogue driven, and involves characters other than just the featured character. Well I'd be lying if I told you I was actually that talented of a writer. I want to thank for volunteering to help write the story for this one. He did an excellent job with it, and really blew my mind with what he presented me. If you want more great stories like this one as well, be sure to check out his gallery too. And with that, I bet a good number of you can guess when the next few characters that will be joining Twilight will be! Of course, that's part of the reason this took so long. Making this many longer stories isn't something that happens over night! But quality like this cannot be rushed. I'll be releasing more throughout the week.
