A random set of doodles of some of my favorite characters.

...There'll be a comic later explaining a certain little... interesting mishap that happened when someone caught me drawing this (I was working on Mia specifically at that point). Hint: It involves someone trying to recruit me to 'furrydom'. ...And I mean a FURRY of furries. And anyone who knows me knows that I don't consider myself 'furry' (I'm just lazy and draw foxes instead of 'myself' because it's fast and I hate self-portraits)

I've always loved animal characters. They're fascinating! And they're amazing to roleplay because it's amazing to explore the way an animal would think if their thought processes were strong enough to RESEMBLE a human being's (because they really would never think exactly like a human being, no matter what anyone would like to claim).

I actually play Mrs. Brisby and Moro (and may pick up Mia) in several LiveJournal roleplays. They're really fascinating characters to play - it's amazing to explore the timidness and life of constant fear that Mrs. Brisby endures, and it's even more amazing in contrast to see how Moro, a GOD, views her very morbid and fatal situation.

Mia is a surprisingly sad and tragic character, and although her arc was more on the side, I did like how she was more of a subtle reminder of how badly The World was warping (beyond physical damage). The effect it had on a 'person' held a much more emotional toll and served as a much more effective reminder that 'holy balls things are getting fucked up in here'.

As for Katz... he was delightfully despicable.
