Description
Original Description: My own version of races I’d allow as player characters in an RPG; Troll, elf, human, orc, dwarf, gnome and goblin. The dwarf was a lot smaller (same height as the goblin) but thanks to modern techno…I mean magic, he was scaled up a bit. Yeay, for Growth spells! Ehem…NOTES: Still think this is a pretty good basic lineup for the most common races in a fantasy world of mine. Other races exist and interact, of course, but I like a selection of races and cultures as a solid foundation for further expansion and world building.

It's a pretty solid set of races. It's a pity that so few RPG's allow for Troll characters, though i guess it's mostly our norse trolls that are not the big stupid rapidly regenerating monsters that most other trolls are.
Also, we need an Elf-Goblin halfbreed girl, it feels like it could be quite the silly yet cute thing ;3

I do believe I got my inspiration to use trolls as characters from playing the RPG ShadowRun. Even so I still wanted to keep the non-playable monster trolls in my own lore, but still all a part of the same race. That's why I got the idea to give them a "blood curse" that slowly corrupted their bodies and minds after each generation if they didn't mix their bloodline with humans. Also, a union between more degenerated trolls will escalate the affects of the "blood curse", giving these "darkbloods" more classic fantasy troll traits such as big claws and fangs, stench, regeneration, vulnerability to sunlight, etc. So I can still use trolls as really nasty monsters if I want to.
Elf-Goblin...? Already got one of those. They're called Gnomes.
