This could make a great comeback for the series, as a better game than SD Final Fight was on NES, with online and/or couch coop for all three characters. Really like it. Kudos.

Photoshop CS5 and a Wacom Cintiq 24HD.
My process:
- Hunt down character and style reference
- Do lots of rough sketches to lock down the look of the characters
- Clean up the line art and then color
- Background is the same process
Maybe I'll post a step by step sometime in the future

There's a Streets of Rage fan made remake that's pretty amazing. Sega decided to wait 8 years until the guys finished it before they sent in their lawyers to shut it all down. You can still find it out there though.

Yeah I was gonna make an Adventure Time RPG but then my girlfriend said. "If you're gonna go through all the work of making a game why not just make your own game? Instead of running the risk that a company is going to shut you down after you spent months and years of work on it?"

Smart lady! That's why I just make my own games. This kinda thing is fun to mock up and dream about doing but ultimately you just gotta create your own IP's! That's where the money is anyway

I know! Seriously these guys spent 8 years making this game. In that time they could have made their own original game. Not only would they not be shut down but they could have sold it too.
