High resolution Paper Mario sprites for Fryguy, a burning bully of a boss from Super Mario Bros 2 USA. He is also the final enemy from Doki Doki Panic to receive any HD Paper Mario sprites created or recreated by me.

No chilled climate can contain Fryguy’s heat! The infernal jerk started life as one smaller flame enchanted by Wart’s bubbles. He flies above any so-called heroes, cackling as fire rains from above to BURN EVERYTHING.

Er, no big deal- I bet a few Mushroom Blocks to the face can knock some sense into him, right? WRONG. Even after taking all he can, Fryguy splits into four smaller, quick-hopping flames. If a given hero isn’t careful, they might be caught off-guard by the sudden development.

Fryguy also appeared on the Super Mario Bros Super Show, as one of King Koopa’s minions.

Though Fryguy may be the final unique boss I’ve recreated from Doki Doki Panic, he’s not the last one to have such done from Super Mario Bros 2, or future rereleases...
