High resolution sprites for the Goomba Bros, two Goomba mini-bosses from Paper Mario 64.
Red and Blue work for the Goomba King, Goomboss. Between the two, Red is more aggressive, while Blue is more emotional. The two care and share in each other's victories and defeats. Their combined teamwork is no match, though, for Mario and his Goomba pal Goombario. They're beaten so bad, they run off crying.
Mario has no time to pity the bros, as the two immediately team up with Goomboss himself against the plumber. However, the previous battle weakens the bros so much, a single good strike can take them both out at once. Even after the battle, they prove themselves a liability to Goomboss in letting certain secrets slip.
The Goomba Bros value and respect strength in the end, as Goombario gets a letter from the duo later, asking for friendship.
